"Rooms are small"

"Experience here was ok, called ahead and asked about late check out and was told I was able to add that onto my stay at check in and the latest available time for check out was 4pm. once I got to check in they were surprised I had asked for late check out at 4 pm and said they did not do that, they contacted their manager and the manager was unable to approve this. the latest available time they had was 1pm. Had I known they were unable to do 4pm late checkout I wouldn’t have booked here or would have just booked for another night at the time I booked. Other than this the stay was good everything was cleaned and well maintained, breakfast was a little lacking with their automatic pancake machine undercooking the pancakes. Would book here again but wouldn’t be my first choice."

"The room was very clean but the lighting was AWFUL. You couldn't see in the bathroom because the lighting was so bad. I thought they were on dimmers but no, just bad lighting. Kudos to the cleaning staff, they are amazing. The pool area was clean but there were no lifeguards. The lazy river didn't have any staff attending to it, so if you got hurt or needed assistance you were at a loss. The restaurant on property wasn't good and was more like a quick service with overpriced chicken tenders. The site is misleading, you are not able to go over to the Hyatt at Wild Oak Ranch without paying 21 dollars to park and paying for a day pass to use their pool area. Overall it worked for a few nights, not sure if I'd go back."

"We were there for our honeymoon. We experienced a few problems upon check in but they immediately made it right and upgraded our room. Staff was very kind and accommodating. Room was beautiful. Pool very small and dirty. Parking was a disaster and unless you can walk, very expensive. "

"We were there for our honeymoon and so looking fwd to being at this beautiful and historic hotel. We added special requests in our reservation asking for amenities to purchase for our honeymoon room. No one answered. Emailed hotel concierge. No one answered. Asked check in employee and she was dismissive and ignored us, complaining she was left there alone and didnt know anything we asked. So we asked to speak to a mgr at this point to just ask if we could purchase a honeymoon pkg or anything at all to make our trip special. We spoke to the mgr on duty that night named Cara, maybe - not sure her name. She said she would call concierge and let us know. We never heard from anyone again. So our honeymoon night there was spent stressed out and very disappointed. 😔 Would not recommend if ur trying to arrange to celebrate anything. You will get ignored. But ..beautiful grounds and pool area. Room was clean and beautifully decorated but bed was awful/very uncomfortable. Great shops inside hotel and a very close walk to riverwalk and shops/restaurants/the Alamo."

"Love love love the no smoke policy and i didn't run into any second hand smoke or third hand smoke. The bathroom needs more cleaning Calcium build up, thru out the Establishment. The Pool was nice but the Hot tub wasn't working, it was cold. Also they have a small business area one computer and a 24 hour gym. "

"Room was very nice, bathroom could use a little extra on the grout cleaning. Towels were ok. Pool was very overcrowded but it was a Saturday. Pool was smaller than I thought it would be and bathroom was out of service outside of the pool area so had to gather belongings and take son back to our room for that. Called down for valet to bring car around and when I got down there they had no clue of me calling."

"Older than we thought! Needs repairs and windows washed. The beds were great, our view was good, staff wonderful. Could use better chairs in room and small table. All in all we enjoyed our stay. Location close to Riverwalk."
