The best thing I can say about this place is, the location was wonderful for getting on and off of the base. Other than that, a few newer amenities but most of the place is rundown. Sink didn’t drain, no lamps, floor is dirty, no telephone, made service only came when asked. And wasn’t even clean at check in, other than sheets and towels.

Aside from the door not being able to be locked, and the ac unit in room 259 didnt work very well. Went out to buy a fan and a door stopper to enjoy the stay. Other than those 2 little things, over all, as expected stay. Comfortable and relaxing

Sorry room and not kept up. Bad stay overall. I wouldn't recommend and I will not stay there again. No thank you. It was not what the pictures showed period at all but close the room is not even the same picture the bed has springs picking out no joke!! Very uncomfortable!! Floor for my 3 year old grandsons socks blank. It was too dirty to let my gson play on that floor!!! The people that work there were nice tho.

Very pleasant stay visiting Lackland AFB. hotel is RIGHT next to the base, easy access. anyone wanting to stay in San Antonio or attending graduation/any on base event I definitely recommend this stay to. very affordable. loved the pool.

Why was I in Texas?

It was Amazing, I was right across firm the Air base and that was my reason for bring there. To see my grandson graduate from The Air Force. The hotel was very nice and clean and quiet.

The buildings are a little old, and it shows, but they've been maintained well and for a "value" motel it's clean and in good condition, much better than other "value" motels that I've stayed at in San Antonio. Breakfast choices were quite limited, I would have like to see more choices, pretty much just waffels, bagels, and cold cereal, but I was very pleased that they started breakfast early on the days of the BMT graduation.

E en though the room didn't look like the pictures on the website, it was clean. Gor a short stay , with somewhere to lay your head. It was perfect. The staff is very nice the bed was comfy. I stayed just two days and i felt safe. .

Was located within walking distance of Lackland for a good price. Room was decent sized. Shower is small and impractically laid out bathroom. Good sized bed with stiff pillows. Good live tv options. Pool was very nice but only one was working. On my check in day I let the lady know I would need to do a late checkout and she said that would be ok. To just come down the day of checkout to let them know and if they don’t need the room I wouldn’t need to pay the fee. I go down and let a different lady know and she tells be she’ll have to ask her manager. I sit in the lobby for 30 minutes and got no response. I go back to the room and my husband calls and they say that they will not be able to do late checkout we ended up having to book the room for one more day. It appeared very clean with some wear and tear but we did find a very large roach in one of our towels. That was quite the scare.

La Nasty Quinta Lackland AFB

La Quinta should NOT have their name on this deplorable property. We were greeted and checked in prompltly which was great. That's the reason for the 1 star. There is only ONE swimming pool, not 2 as advertised. Pool #2 had standing water in it which was disgusting. The condition of the room was equally disgusting. Here is a rundown of the conditions (see photos): - mold in the shower - human hair around the sink - missing smoke detector in room - missing fire extinguisher outside room - missing light bulbs in lamps - damage to walls (paint, drywall, etc.) - damage to floor molding - missing artwork with exposed hardware - no tissues provided - paper thin towels (rough texture) - bathroom door was falling off hinges - stains on headboard We booked at the last minute and got a good price. I feared for our health and safety.
