The Broadway Casita is conveniently located in the Mahncke Park neighborhood of San Antonio. Guests are within walking distance of many San Antonio attractions, including parks, golf courses, restaurants, universities and more. With easy access to Downtown, Brackenridge Park, and The Pearl, The Broadway Casita is ideal for both location and privacy and is located just 15 minutes from the the San Antonio International Airport. With its own private yard and swimming pool, guests can relax, enjoy the sites and cool off from this comfortable 1 Bedroom 1 Bath home base. The Broadway Casita is ideally located for easy access to all that San Antonio has to offer. Walk to the San Antonio Botanical Gardens, The Witte Museum, The DoSeum, The San Antonio Zoo, The Japanese Tea Gardens, the San Antonio Country Club and the San Antonio River.

When you’re not busy enjoying the amazing museums, gardens and parks or strolling along the River, you and your family will have plenty of space to relax and unwind. Our large 1B/1B single family home is just over 800 sq. ft., and has an open living, kitchen and dining room with plenty of room to hang out in the nice cool air-conditioning. The sliding glass door opens directly to the private pool-- And this pool really is private. Used only by your Family and guests, the pool at The Broadway Casita is tucked away in its own large, shady yard surrounded by privacy fencing all the way around. Lay back on your lounge chair in this quiet oasis located right in the middle of the city. The master bedroom is large and comfortably furnished with a high quality linens and queen sized bed for a great night’s sleep. An additional full size custom made Murphy Bed is located in the living room. Books, games, wi-fi and 2 large TV's are provided for everyone’s enjoyment.

The Pool is a Jewel

The location was convenient, but there was mechanical noise from adjacent properties. We got used to it. The property was well maintained and we loved the pool. It was the main reason to select this listing. I only wished for a comfy place to read with a good light. My husband and I plan to return in 2023..

Great location to Riverwalk, Pearl, shopping, and resturants. The place was as described but it is not very comfortable for 4 adults let alone 5 as indicated The Murphy bed is a full and the couch was small and low to the ground. There is no place for 4 people to watch tv without pulling down the Murphy bed. Only had 4 hangers in the house and had to go buy some. Needs kool-aid pitcher and a garbage can in bedroom . Place better suited for 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults. Not enough towels and washcloths for 4 people.

I regret this booking

The pool isn’t as “private” as described. There are apartment buildings close by that can see right down into the backyard. I wasn’t very comfortable with the neighborhood and would definitely not walk ANYWHERE around there. The lighting in the bathroom is very bad. I had to go outside to do my make up. We we’re going to stay here for our anniversary because our dinner reservations were close by. We also wanted to use the pool but didn’t because anyone in the apartment complex could look down at us we did not. The host needs to update their description of this property because it is not accurate at all, and very deceiving. I would not recommend staying here. I was also worried about my car being stolen, which is another reason why we left and did not stay. I’m very disappointed with this experience. I think VRBO needs to do a little fact checking on the properties they allow on their site or at least offer, refunds or discounts when a host lies about their property. Thanks

Perfect house for our Grands trip with our 3 grandkids. Was the perfect size and location for us.

There were so many little touches that made this place perfect for our vacation. We loved the pool and the lights outside so we could enjoy the outdoors once it wasn’t 100 degrees outside. The inside was comfy and perfect for our family of 2 adults and 3 kids! Will definitely stay there again if ever we find ourselves in San Antonio again.

It was okay. All outside area was dirty from pool to furniture pool light popped out in pool while swimming on its on and she blamed me. Place was not ready at check in they were still cleaning house but nothing else. I wouldn’t visit again. Only good thing was the house and space

Nice Getaway

Was a nice few days for a getaway. Owner was great and took care of a few items that was not there. Clean and comfortable. Swimming in the pool was really nice. We enjoyed the artificial grass. Everything was close by with attractions to go see. Overall will definitely come back and stay. By the way bring spray for mosquitoes. They get pretty righteous out there.

Great little house with lovely pool

Our family stayed here for a few nights before we moved away from San Antonio. The location was great and easy to access some of our favorite restaurants, and the pool was perfect for cooling off at the end of the day. My only complaints were the broken ice maker (ice cube trays would have helped) and lack of dish scrubber/dish drying rack (there's no dishwasher). Other than that, everything was perfect!

Best Pool

We stayed many rentals with pool, this is the best pool. Perfect size and deep enough for my husbands did his early morning one hour lap. Thanks for floating rings, great for my granddaughters. Great locations to many attractions!

Great location and very clean

I really enjoyed this property and chose it for the pristine backyard. Unfortunately it rained on our stay and we didn't get to enjoy the pool but the location was great and the place very homey.

Cute little place in a good location

We had a great time and enjoyed the house. We managed to use the pool one time... but since it is not temperature controlled, it was short. It's probably a lot better in the summer! The master bed is extremely comfortable. The place was very clean. I really wished the front door had a curtain or covering. It is really bright in the morning in the living room for those sleeping on the murphy bed. Plus, it would feel safer without having solid glass. The shower pressure is not great.. but it was a nice clean bathroom and the flooring was cute! Thanks for your hospitality. It was a great location for sure!

Great location

1. Upon arrival the towels in the bathroom were still wet. 2. We couldn’t find any extra pillows. 3. The Murphy bed comforter looked like it had seen better days. We wished that the pillows had pillowcases on them instead of shams. 4. The light in the pool was either burnt out or just wouldn’t work. 5. The light above the Stove was out. 6.The bedroom light was horrible to deal with. That switch is too complicated. However, we loved the location of the house and thoroughly enjoyed the pool! We loved how private it felt and we had a great weekend.

The house was comfortable and clean, and area by the pool was so peaceful you hardly knew we were just minutes away from downtown. Highly recommend and look forward to staying there again.

It's a great little house- nice pool

The location is great- on a quiet dead end street off the main road, near stores, restaurants etc. The pool is refreshing to use and very private, well maintained. The bed is comfortable. The new hardwood floors are nice. The televisions have internet connections and streaming subscriptions though no cable or local stations if you're a sports fan. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. There are BarBQ grills outside.The owner is attentive and easy to work with.
