San Antonio Trip
We stayed here over an extended weekend to watch the solar eclipse. I really liked the location. Was in a nice quiet neighborhood, but close to restaurants and grocery stores. Easy to get to the highway and only a 20-25 minute drive to downtown. The pool was open, but water still a bit too cold to swim in early April. The interior of the house was clean and much of it updated. The back yard has lots of shade and many trees, which is nice, but also creates a bit of debris, if you are planning anything in the back. The only negative I can think of is the step in the master bedroom. A couple of feet past the bed, there is about a 8 inch step down which is in an unexpected spot and with the matching tile floor, it is kind of hard to see. My wife fell twice and my daughter once on it. I'm really not sure why the master bedroom has this, and I think it would be a good idea for the owner to try to make the room all one level in the future. It may be a good idea to put some caution tape on the drop or some low level lighting to make it more visible at night.

Great Get Away
We have stayed at this rental for quite a few years and have always enjoyed our stay. The owners are always friendly and ready to answer any questions we may have. Since our stay is quite lengthy we get to utilize many of the amenities of this rental. Hope to return again!

Nice location but…
Home was convenient to highway and in a nice neighborhood. However, there are a few cleanliness and safety issues that need to be addressed. The home needs some TLC. There was dust on furniture and dirt and objects on floor behind living room couch. The recliner was broken,and some light switches did not operate. The kitchen although well stocked had dirty dishes in the cabinet, crumbs in the drawers and coffee grounds in the coffee maker. On the last night we wondered where the smoke detector was in the master bedroom. Accidentally, we found it under bathroom sink with batteries removed. The light above master bathroom shower was not fully attached to the ceiling. We had issues with not having hot water, the owner did come and turn up the temperature within 24 hours. The bathroom towels were very thin and some of them had stains. All in all, this home needs a much love and repair. The best thing about it was the location is near the friends we came to visit.

Quiet Neighborhood
The most positive aspect of this property is its location in a quiet and seemingly safe neighborhood not too far from downtown and close to first-class restaurants. The negatives include the general shabbiness of the house, maintenance needs, and threadbare towels. A dangerous step in the primary bedroom tripped one of our party, who smashed their head on tile floor--blood everywhere. We stayed in December, so the pool was not a benefit, but it's easy to see that a young family would enjoy it.

Great stay.
We were in town for our daughter’s graduation ceremony from St. Mary’s University. The home is spacious and beautiful. Everything was just as pictured. The home is in a lovely neighborhood that was 20 minutes away. The owners were gracious enough to give us access to the home a bit early as our flight arrived early. I would recommend someone check out the shower door in the master bedroom, as it gets a bit stuck. There was a small cleaning issue that we resolved ourselves. We let the owners know only so they can check with their cleaners to ensure they are thorough. I highly recommend this beautiful home.

Overall, nice location, nice house. It was disappointing that TVs did not work because batteries had been removed from remote controls. There were no paper towels on site. We were in SAT to enjoy relaxing time with our son and family. Not to be traipsing around to Walmart for supplies. These were basic items that should have been provided.

Annular eclipse 2023
Wonderful location, was easy for us to get to the different locations and activities we were doing on our vacation ( the eclipse was amazing!). Owner was wonder to work with, walk us through the process, our first time VRBOing. Even, allowed us to drop off our luggage early. The house was surprisingly spacious, our family of six was able to spread out easily. Our daughters enjoyed connect four and the air hockey. Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic location! The house was spacious and great for kids/adults. Good games and entertainment. Nice pool, although deck area was dirty and required us to clean it. The pool man comes on Mondays- that was a surprise. As a renter, be prepared to go to the store and get household items. Limited hand soap and dish soap, some bath towels were shredded so we bought our own, only 3 pool towels, and not enough silverware for a full house. Beds were comfy but loud. Overall: Good place, not quite perfection.

Perfect for our family!
This house was perfect for us! Our kiddo is a fish so she LOVED the pool! Had everything we needed! Definitely could use more towels but we made do with what was there! We enjoyed our stay very much! The neighborhood Walmart and H‑E‑B being down the road was VERY convenient!

Girls Trip
Wonderful house!!! Great location! Excellent communication between us and host! I would recommend this home away from home! Will definitely stay here again when we come back to San Antonio. House was clean, spacious, simply decorated, comfortable furniture! Slept well because the beds were soooo comfortable! You’ll really enjoy the fenced in yard and a pool that never closes! This property is in a good location (about 25 min from Lackland AFB). Has a Walmart nearby. A family of 6 could stay here very comfortably. The pool is a nice bonus. All rooms have dimmers for lights. Kitchen is small but functional. Dining room and outdoor patio set for meals. Lots of seating in the living room. Bring your own detergent for washing clothes. And extra paper towels for the kitchen. TVs in living room & master bedroom. One hallway bathroom & en suite in the master bedroom. That’s all. Enjoy.

Me and my husband and my daughter as well as my neice and nephew took a trip here to go to sea world this house was everything we could've asked for the kids loved the pool we had to drag them out of it every day it was in the best location and would highly recommend this house to anyone and would live to book ot again on our next trip to San Antonio

59th Wedding Anniversary Getaway
House was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Loved the open living area, kitchen and dining room with lots of seating. Great water pressure in the showers. Would be nice to have rubber mat in the master bath shower, maybe grab bars in both and reflective tape on the ledge in the master bedroom (tripping hazard for seniors). Also add some clarification on the trash/recycling process to the guest notebook. There were a few light bulbs out but overall, it was a really nice and comfortable stay. Thank you so very much.

This property had everything we needed. Very close to 6Flags, shopping and dining! Kids had a blast in the pool and playing games especially the air hockey table! Neighborhood was very inviting! A couple of things perhaps you could add- griddle (for pancakes) and a large baking pan (for lasagna). Couple of things that need addressing- dishwasher needs leveling and securing tightly and oven needs leveling and the front right burner acted funny. Overall- I would love to visit San Antonio again and stay here! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Weekend getaway
We recently moved to San Antonio and we are scoping out neighborhoods where we might buy a house. We miss our pool and chose this property for its location and pool. The house and pool were great, but the property needs a little TLC. Dated furnishings (too many pieces of wall art with inspiring slogans) and deeper updates needed. Great for groups, but the small bathrooms limit how many people can reasonably share. Rattling AC, musty smell, and overflowing gutters keep us from giving the property a 5, but we would recommend it for cleanliness and location.

Needed Vacation
My family needed a break before son surgery and the house was perfect we played Boardgames Cards Domino's the pool was amazing we had family drop in and had room for everyone comfortably the hosts was amazing left tips for places to eat and things to do. This was our first time renting a house and hands down will never rent hotel rooms again. The house is around everything 5 mins to stores 15 to downtown. Thanks for a perfect vacation.

Great San Antonio stay
This is a great home for a family. We came with our adult children and 4 grandchildren. The location is conveniently located for shopping and dining. This is a well kept and updated circa 70's property in a nice neighborhood. It would have been "all that and a bag of chips" in the 70"s. The pool is a pleasant and refreshing feature reflected in the price. The host was very pleasant and helpful. CAUTION: For older guest the master bedroom has bed on an elevated area. The elevation in not great, 5 - 6 inches, but if you have balance issues you might want to consider this as a potential problem requiring great caution. COMFORT: None of the beds are very comfortable. I needed to purchase a mattress topper to achieve a modicum of comfort on the king bed. Children and grandchildren also had issues with other innerspring beds which are worse for wear. Hoverer, being more resilient they toughed it out. Overall I would still recommended it with the listed caveats as it is in a great location with ready access to all locations (maybe with exception to Schlitterbahn - 45 minutes) .
