What an AMAZING place to stay!!!

Our hostess was super sweet! The place was so fun! The decor was unique and made you feel right at home. The king bed was super comfy and the gate to enter and exit was great too! Would HIGHLY recommend this property.....close to everything!

Wonderful rental

We had a wonderful stay! Loved our cabin, parking felt very safe behind security gate on property plus host lives in the front house. We ride e-bikes and were able to drive 1 mile to the first Mission where we could park and access a trail that took us to other beautiful Missions, the Riverwalk and beautiful scenic paved path rides along the river. We loved meeting Gail, the host and won’t hesitate to stay here again when visiting the San Antinio area.

Perfect for our needs

Very nice little loft convenient to bike trails and golf course. Love the themed atmosphere of the apartment. Owner is on site and very available and helpful. Parking/security is excellent.

Perfect spot for our little getaway

Adorable property and conveniently located near downtown San Antonio. The gate made us feel safe and Al’s attic was so cute and comfortable! Our only complaint would be the noise as there were what sounded like fireworks and drag racing several nights. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would visit again!

Very pleasant and comfortable stay.

Very neat theme. I love automobile history, so this place was extra fun for me. My wife and I enjoyed our visit very much. Plan to visit one of the other rooms when we return in six months.

Just what we needed for a weekend getaway

We had an incredible stay at Al’s Auto Attic at Pecan Groves Estates. It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend getaway. We drove down from Fort Worth to watch our son’s band competition at the Alamodome. The location was great, and the host was wonderful. We can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful stay!

The Al’s Auto Attic was truly such a wonderful stay! it was completely gated which made us feel very safe. There were plenty of great restaurants and things to do around the area. It wasn’t too far from downtown but far enough to feel safe. Everything was perfectly decorated and we will definitely be returning. Thanks again!

Cool location

Host was very friendly and helpful. The location was safe, parking was easy and secure, and the home was decorated so cool! Loved it. Recommend getting coffee and breakfast at Commonwealth Coffee and visit New Braunfels and eat at Gristmill River Bar and Restaurant. It’s built inside ruins of a gin. Great food and atmosphere!!

Cute stay in San Antonio!

Although the neighborhood was not very nice, the Vrbo was tucked away from the road as its own gated collection of houses. The host was very friendly and the property's outdoor space was beautiful. The inside was cozy and quirky and perfect for a vacation with friends. Driving to downtown took 15-20 mins and the traffic wasn't horrible. My only complaint was that there were obvious stains on the bedsheets (they could have been clean, but I had this tiny fear that they weren't!). However, don't let this stop you from booking! Definitely a worthwhile stay!

A week at Al's Auto Attic

Al's Auto Attic is an adorable cozy place that met our needs perfectly. It is decorated with an automobile theme that we all really liked. The beds were very comfortable and the water pressure and temperature were awesome!! Gail was very friendly and check in and check out were very easy. Our porch overlooked the pretty courtyard which was relaxing. The location was great for all the things we wanted to do. I would definitely recommend this property and will stay again when i come back to San Antonio

Design Meets Hospitality!

A VRBO stay enables you to "live like a local" when visiting some place new. We certainly felt this staying at Al's Auto Attic. Charming, unique, cozy, comfortable are just a few words that come to mind when describing this San Antonio treasure. Conveniently located to Missions National Park (blocks away) and The Riverwalk, we felt San Antonio was at our doorstep We loved overlooking the yard as we sat on the porch with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Pecan Grove Estates is a treasure and features many personal touches. We can't imagine staying anywhere else in San Antonio!

Little Oasis

Al's Auto Attic is a charming and convenient place to relax and unwind after a full day of exploring San Antonio. It's so close to the best sightseeing locations that we could even come back midday to enjoy a swim before heading out for more of the city's sights. Make sure to talk with the owner if you're going to be a late check in. They have some rules that are not on the VRBO listing. We would definitely come back the next time we're visiting SA.

Gated oasis

While driving through the neighborhood to our stay we questioned the accuracy of the listing. We breathed a sigh of relief as we pulled up to the gorgeous and securely gated destination. It was just as cute as the pictures. I loved all of the extras like lotion, cotton balls and face mask provided in the bathroom; however, the toilet paper on some really cool holders was positioned behind the toilet and was very hard to reach. Also, for anyone wanting total bathroom privacy, be aware that it’s located right by the bed and the door is a sliding barn door type that has significant spaces all around it and does not lock. The heater/ air conditioner above the bed had a rattling noise. The main bed was amazingly comfortable and the sheets were glorious. Our host also gave us an excellent recommendation for dinner.
