A Country Feel in the Middle of Boerne

Great new property situated in the middle of Boerne. Very secluded and surrounded by huge oak trees. Easy walk to Main Street (6 blocks). The Old Depot Walking Trail is a half block away. Take the trail East to Cibolo Creek or West to Bumdoodlers Pies! The Depot Cottage was newly built in Dec 2016 out of Hill Country limestone. It is modeled after the Old Nature Center Historic Building on Main Street. Depot Cottage is located on a street that used to be named Depot Street and housed the Boerne Depot Station. It is beautifully decorated with antique furniture and has all the modern amenities as well (WIFI is included). The three acre property is gated and there is a small fenced in grass area to keep pets safe. You will see whitetail and axis deer on the adjoining properties. Enjoy all the convenience of downtown Boerne while feeling like you are secluded in the Texas Hill Country.

Host was polite and accommodated 1 request. We were able to walk to the downtown area and meander. It was also close to the event,Cave without a Name, we were visiting. The cottage was extremely clean and had all the amenities.

Wonderful little cottage

The cottage was the perfect place for us. It was very comfortable and so clean. Our children live in Leon springs. The cottage was so convenient for us to visit them. We will definitely stay again!

We wanted a base to explore the area. It was a delightful getaway. Very comfortable and relaxing. Close to many restaurants or we could bring food in and feel right at home.

Beautiful peaceful retreat

My husband and I had a wonderful time staying at the Depot Cottage while attending a family reunion. It was perfect for our 2 dogs too with a huge fenced field for them to run and a smaller fenced area right off the front porch. The cottage was beautifully outfitted with everything we needed. There were lots of deer to watch and beautiful trees making for a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of a busy family weekend. Highly recommend.

It was lovely, cute, little place. I liked that it was a gated property. Quiet neighborhood. Had the most comfortable pillow! Pretty granite countertops. Had everything you would need in the kitchen, coffee. Nice yard. I would stay there again! Great experience!

Fabulous Cottage- We will be back!

Such a lovely cottage with a beautiful view. My husband and I sat outside in the evenings to see deer grazing, which was so relaxing. The cottage itself has every amenity needed for a stay. The bed was comfortable, the shower was excellent, and the entire cottage was clean. There is a small, fenced area for a dog in the front of the cottage that is enough room to run off energy. The weekend we booked was rainy, but with the covered patio and chairs, we were still able to sit outside under the covered porch without getting wet. So relaxing and we will definitely be back. Oh, I almost forgot, it is close to a walking nature path and is a walkable distance to shops and restaurants maybe about 10 min walk away.

Great stay at the Depot Cottage

My wife and I spent 3 nights in Boerne and loved our small cottage. It’s a perfect setup for a couple. The king sized bed was very comfortable and we had all the cooking utensils we needed to make ourselves several meals at the cottage. The location is about a 15 minute walk or very short drive to Main Street where the shops and restaurants/bars are primarily located. We would gladly stay again should we head back to Boerne.

Beautiful & Relaxing Retreat

We stayed 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the cottage! Everything we needed was there. The cottage was excellent…very comfortable, cozy and relaxing! Enjoyed coffee each morning sitting and reading on the front porch watching the deer. The setting was awesome and private. Access to & from the cottage was very easy. We will definitely look to stay here again next time we’re in Boerne! Thanks so much!

Gem in Boerne, Texas

The Depot Cottage is truly a GEM in Boerne, Texas. Location and amenities are nothing short of excellent. It's a peaceful setting with lots of wildlife surrounding you - deer. We loved the neighborhood. We took the trail-way for a quick morning walk. The Depot Cottage is equipped with very, very nice and beautiful furniture and every convenience item that you need. The Depot Cottage interior looks like it was professionally decorated - quality throughout! We loved our stay and will hopefully stay again. Thank you, Terry. Our stay was top notch!!

This home is just beautiful! I loved the windows especially. The owners had well thought out information books in the home about everything including how to work the coffee pot which is very important. This property is also very quiet to be in a neighborhood.

Hill Country Cottage charm

Cottage complete with everything we needed. Starting with bluebonnet views and private view of beautiful trees and distant deer roaming. Everything was clean and well thought out for our needs, perfect kitchen, king size poster bed, wifi connection and television for March Madness watching. Relaxing porch to sit and read. Close to the center of Boerne with shops and wonderful restaurants.
