"NO HOT TUB! They advertised an indoor heated pool and hot tub, yet the hot tub was apparently removed and nowhere to be found. Windows in the room behind the curtains had dried fluid and hand prints everywhere so we were more disgusted when we looked at the view than anything. Several empty food dishes and glasses left in the hall combined with a side entrance door that doesn't even have a disability ramp sealed that we won't ever be back."

"We had a great stay at this home. It was very clean and had a charming old Hollywood California bungalow feel; high ceilings, beautiful character, and a warm, inviting atmosphere that felt straight out of films.The decor was tasteful without being cluttered, and the home had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like providing toilet paper, shampoo, granola bars and coffee, which made settling in easy without an immediate grocery run.The neighborhood is lovely, quiet and very walkable. It was easy to stroll to nearby restaurants and shops in San Rafael, which made the location especially convenient.It’s an older home, which really adds to its charm and character- just something to keep in mind that some features, like the bathroom and lighting, reflect that vintage style. It didn’t impact our stay at all, but helpful to know if you’re used to more modern setups.Overall, a cozy, character-filled place in a fantastic location. We’d definitely stay again."

"The hotel is very old and you will hear your neighbors. It's in a wonderful location though and my room was clean. The heater didn't work, but thankfully it was warm enough without it. "

"$30.00 for parking is awful. Breakfast, I just had 1 small bowl of fruit & the charge was $21.00 + tax! That's robbery! But the room was perfect, clean, modern, and I really loved the bathroom fixtures!"

"Do NOT stay here! It was not a clean place I felt dirty the whole time. The room smelled so gross and musty. One of the pillows had dirt on it. There were stains on the carpet as well. I didn’t have a private bathroom and had to share one and being a young single woman I was scared and the booking didn’t even specify I wouldn’t have my own bathroom. The service was so bad there was only like two people working there. Save your money and book somewhere else!!!"

"We were completely satisfied with our rental experience. 16 adult family members and 3 small grandbabies all stayed comfortably for my mother’s memorial in her 100th year. We were able to work in the kitchen together, which was well stocked with all hard goods, and working appliances. there were not pantry items, such as spices or other cooking basics. But that was OK and not expected. Coffee, tea and espresso machine were nice touch. plenty of space to be together indoors and separate with multiple outdoor spaces for time alone. The house was well described on the website and the host’s communication and responsiveness was excellent (hangers, a couple blankets). The house wasn’t soundproof, of course, but did mask significant amount of the noise of a large group. The two guests staying in the 2 bed loft were very flexible, but it would not be an ideal setting for someone who requires full privacy or significant quiet. we spaced out the small children on the 3 floors so they didn’t keep each other awake. And the family was very tolerant of each other. The location is perfect, gorgeous view, close to everything, but does require driving. parking worked out just fine as we had only five cars for the seven parking spaces. everyone was thrilled with the accommodations I arranged. The only suggestions made were for an extra night light in the lower level hallway, and one bed being “slightly uncomfortable” (I did not notice it when I tested it). Thank you for our lovely stay. "Overall the house was wonderful. Plenty of room for 3 elderly adults. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare food. The outdoor motion detecting lights were very convenient at night. The heating system & the wifi worked perfectly. Suggestions for the host: Don't wait until the last minute to inform guests of the entry code. Grab bars needed in both bathrooms. All the rugs need rubber backing to keep them from sliding. "

"Christina welcomed our two cats and us with flowers and goodies. Such a sweet property and cozy to live in. Parking was great as she has a spot for your car. Easy to contact her when needed."
