"This is not at all a takeaway from the hotel, but there are a lot of stairs and it is pretty much impossible to avoid them. The staff will help you with your bags so you don’t need to do any heavy lifting. If that’s something that doesn’t work for you, consider other hotels. Perfect hotel that’s right on Amed Beach. Temper your expectations for luxury because it is a quiet little fishing town and pretty much the only thing to do there is snorkel and scuba dive that doesn’t take away from the facilities at all, but don’t expect a Marriott. Absolutely beautiful property with multiple pools and stunning views. Staff will bend over backwards to make sure your stay is comfortable. The spa on site is amazing, we got a couple’s massage and honestly, it was the best massage I’ve ever had for a fraction of the price that you will get at home. Restaurant has very good food, and there are countless little cafés and restaurants you can walk to along the street. Have cash on hand if you venture out of the hotel for food. ATMs are known to be unreliable in Amed so make sure you stock up before you arrive. I didn’t have any problems with them, but I’ve read that other people have. If you do use an ATM in the area make sure you use one that is inside one of the convenience stores and not a freestanding one, as those will possibly skim your card. "

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome – their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care made our stay truly special. Every meal we had here was delicious – we enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the hotel every day, and each dish was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. Our room had the most spectacular ocean view – waking up to the sight and sound of the waves was absolute bliss. The resort is wonderfully quiet, making it the perfect place to relax and reset. Snorkelling right from the beach was beautiful, with vibrant coral and plenty of marine life. The highlight of our trip was visiting the USAT Liberty shipwreck, which was nothing short of amazing. Even as snorkellers, it was an unforgettable experience – next time, I’ll definitely be learning to dive here! This place is a little slice of paradise, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful, scenic, and welcoming, this is it. We will absolutely be back!"

"Such an amazing experience at this hotel, not only is the staff incredibly kind and attentive they are also so thoughtful. We stayed for our honeymoon in the pool villa, and on the first night we came in they gave us a call in the morning to see if we’d like to have breakfast even after breakfast hours were over since we hadn’t eaten. They always asked us about our itinerary to help us decide best places to go or offer us shuttle service or a car. We went on a lovely trip with Joe to the swing and coffee plantation, he’s so fun and knowledgeable, he was also so patient with us and wanted to make sure we had a great experience. The room itself is beyond what I expected, so clean and beautifully designed. The bathroom is so spacious and gorgeous that we could probably just live there. The shower has the best water pressure and the hot water keeps going even when we’ve filled the bath and want to use the shower after. Such an amazing experience, I really wish we had booked longer. Highly recommend staying here, and hope to come back one day! Also they offer yoga in the morning, a free foot massage when you first come and their chicken is halal. Amazing experience!!
