We had a *wonderful* stay here. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful - they even upgraded our room for the last few nights of our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The pousada is nicely decorated and located in a nice, quiet area of the city. Lastly and most importantly, breakfast! Every day was something different but always tasty and fresh. Breakfast was the best part of our day and a great opportunity to try more of the local cuisine. We highly recommend Casa da Vitoria!

Lugar tranquilo/café da manhã perfeito

Amei descobrir essa pousada para ficar em Salvador. Muito bem localizada, em rua super tranquila. Lugar pequeno,simples mas muito acolhedor, sentimo-nos em casa. Café da manhã maravilhoso, tudo feito na hora com muito capricho. Cama confortável, bons lençóis e toalhas. Os quartos do piso superior são melhores. Esse será sempre minha acomodação em Salvador. This charming pousada is well worth the visit! The location is very central. And the breakfasts are not to be missed -- truly exceptional. We thought Denise was really fantastic. We look forward to staying here again!

An Oasis in Salvador

We had a wonderful stay. Casa da Vitoria is an oasis in Salvador. The owner Augusta takes wonderfully care of her guests. She advises on restaurants and tours. Wonderful hospitality. The breakfast is delicious and changes every day. Probably the best address to stay in Salvador.

Delighted with our hotel!

My husband and I spent a week at Casa de Vitoria and were absolutely delighted with our choice of hotel. Natalie and staff were exceptional, they were so friendly and could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. We would definitely go back again and would recommend it to anyone contemplating a visit to the area. We felt absolutely safe at all times in the community, but we did take notice of the advice to not wear any jewellery when out walking. Beth and Gregg
