This cottage has it's own private entrance on a 4 acre estate. Right on the water with your own secluded cove. Very private with all your home comforts and of course A/C and Wi-Fi -A master bedroom looking out to amazing views. A screened in porch to sit and dine or just relax and watch the beautiful sunsets. A kitchen, bathroom and dining area decorated with beautiful furnishings and an extra outdoor private shower for those who like to experience the true island living! Kayaking and fishing trips available on request.

The perfect vacation

Debbie and Phil were fantastic hosts! The cottage was clean, fun, and in a perfect central location on the island. We loved everything about it! We will be definitely be back!

Beautiful waterfront rental

The property was beautiful and the hosts very friendly. The central location on the island made it very easy to explore by car but also had easy access by walking to both the Caribbean and Atlantic beaches. Highly recommended

Perfect Piece of Paradise!

Baywatch Cottage was beautiful cozy and relaxing, just what we needed. We saw sea turtles, a nurse shark and lots of fish in the private cove.

Amazing place

The house is wonderful, perfect for a couple, it has everything you need for your stay. Excellent location, near the main road, but very quite and you have a lot of privacy. Property owner (Debbie) is a wonderful person, she helped us in anything we needed for a perfect vacation. Hope to repeat soon.

A beautiful hidden gem

The location is absolutely beautiful. Enough seclusion to enjoy the stay but very close proximity to grocery and a few restaurants. The property owner is wonderful and very helpful/easy to communicate with. 5 stars all around!

Amazing!

Thanks to the host(s) , Ms Debbie was very accommodating and the cottage was perfect. The views are better than the pics, the island is beautiful and the people are so welcoming. Great conversation everywhere you go. The cottage was comfortable and so relaxing. Ms Debbie will give you some tips if it is your 1st time, but wondering the island and going where your feet take you works also. Thanks again for a great stay.

Baywatch Cottage Retirement stay

Beautiful and clean cottage

Just a lovely experience during our stay. The host was wonderful and had many tips for us during our Long Island experience. This property in person is so impressive. Very well maintained and stocked. Will be booking with this host again in the future!

Paradise!

This property is amazing! Saw sharks, turtles, stingrays off the dock. The island is so pretty and this listing is right in the middle of it all. We had an issue with the air conditioner but it was corrected quickly.

The quiet life

Lovely quiet location. We were looking for something that was off the beaten path and we found exactly what we were looking for. We travelled the island from one end to the other twice with stops in between to walk the wonderful beaches. Back at the cottage we found everything we needed to make ourselves at home. Hats off to the owners.

Perfect anniversary getaway

From start to finish this was an excellent experience. Debbie, our host was very welcoming and helpful. She was quick to respond to anything we needed or any questions we had. The house itself is located right in the middle of the island, very close to groceries and liquor. Baywatch cottage is really well stocked and beyond clean! Every detail os thought of which is great for a quiet island.

Paradise

Both the Baywatch cottage and the Baywatch house are everything they were advertised as and more. Everything is first class from the furnishings right down to the towels and the bedding. Deborah and Phil are wonderful hosts that are rarely seen unless you're looking for them. We had a great time on this lovely Island. Thank you

Brilliant trip

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at this property. Debbie and Phillip are fantastic hosts. Friendly and welcoming, meeting us at the airport was a great touch putting us at ease both at the airport and taking us to the property. The property is very private and well equipped with nothing being too much trouble. I asked for extra things on multiple occasions and was never made to feel a nuisance. Highly recommend this property and the hosts.

Haven of Rest

This property is perfectly situated on the island making northern & southern treks super easy. Phil met us at the airport & escorted us back to Bay Watch which we really appreciated. Only on one occasion did we call & Debbie & Phil were most responsive. The sun, water & people of Long Island made this a wonderful vacation! Hoping to return soon.

Exactly what we hoped for!

We loved everything about our stay! The house had anything we could've needed and then some. It was extremely peaceful and private, but very easy to get ahold of Debbie if needed. She and Phillip gave us lots of recommendations and info about the island, and even drove to pick us up from the airport when our flight was changed (with beers waiting for us on ice! Lol) Everyone we met made us feel welcomed and safe & we already talked about going back one day with our children.

Elegance By the Sea

Just wonderful. Elegant but not luxurious. Elegant in that the Baywatch Cottage is perfectly matched to its location. Simple but tasteful. A classic sea-side cottage. Secluded yet perfectly situated to explore the many hidden, empty beaches sprinkled around the island like a coral necklace. Our own private cove to access the sparkling azure waters to swim and snorkle. All that we needed was there - within and without. Every sunset was an anticipation of a unique display of nature's fireworks - and then we sat thru the afterglow until the galaxy sowed its own fireworks on the night sky. Soft, warm breezes filled the cottage at night. We connected with the place and with ourselves.Simply elegant and elegantly simple.

Loved every minute

The property owners were so accommodating and gracious and made staying in this beautiful cottage like a being at home, only better. They were always willing to help give tips with outings and places of interest and the best eats all while doing things to make us feel welcome. The cottage was beautifully appointed and so tidy and inviting and stocked with all the things to make it feel like home, from hats, and coolers and a well stocked kitchen including many common spices and staples. We loved the dock and private cove as well as the many beaches around the island. Just a beautiful place and wonderful welcoming islanders who were willing to share a laugh and stories when you stopped in for a bite. The food was delicious and the company delightful in every way. If you're looking for relaxation in a beautiful setting away from the hustle and bustle of a crazy world at large, this is the place for you. Flora and fauna are abundant and there is beauty around every corner Traditional bahamian living with a lot of laughter and a peaceful environment are guaranteed. We loved every minute of our stay.

Unbelievable Beauty and Relaxation

We recently stayed at this incredible waterfront cottage in Long Island, Bahamas, and it was truly a slice of paradise! The property is serene with its cozy cove, concrete dock and deck that allowed direct access to the crystal-clear waters, perfect for snorkeling right on the property. The vibrant marine life is amazing and the cottage itself is packed with thoughtful, wonderful amenities that made our stay beyond comfortable. The host was exceptional—personable and incredibly helpful. She struck the perfect balance between being readily available when we needed her and giving us plenty of space to enjoy our vacation privately. Her warmth and attentiveness made us feel cared for while allowing us to completely unwind. I feel like I made a new friend. Long Island is gorgeous! We frolicked on the most beautiful beaches in the world (alone more often than not!), and went snorkeling over and over, seeing thousands of wonderful fish!Beyond the cottage, the Bahamian locals of Long Island truly added to the experience. Their kindness and willingness to help were memorable. They made us feel welcome and enriched our stay in every way.Getting to Long Island is easier than we thought, and was a fun part of our adventure. We flew to Exuma and took the Sheep Runner Ferry, which runs 2-3 times a week. Captain Fox is experienced and very safe. We hope to visit again! It was like a dream come true!

Our Future Home Island

Sorry for the babbling, but I can't put into words what the experience we had with the house, island, people and most of all the hosts (Debbie and Phillip) of this property. It is our 25th Anniversary and we have spent years going to many all inclusive resorts around the Carribean. Baywatch cottage by far is the most beautiful place we have ever been to. The views are breathtaking, but seeing the wildlife swim by you on the dock was an experience that will be hard to beat. Exploring the island during the day and being shown the exquisite sites by our new lifelong friends Debbie and Philip was an amazing adventure. The beaches are like no other. At night we spent the time watching the fish, sharks, turtles and stingrays swim by. We are sorry it took us so long to find a place like this. It is out of a movie. It is not a question of if we will be back because we already want to book a trip this fall. It sounds too good to be true, we know, but when you go be prepared to want to put roots down on LI. Out of 5 stars... this place is a 10!

Great place to get away

This is the perfect place to get away from it all and relax! The location is ideal, the beach has turquoise waters, and the house is great for a couple. The people on Long Island are great and the hosts Debbie and Philip were very helpful in finding all the great places on the island and providing a great house!
