This Victorian Eclectic cottage is close to everything in downtown Salt Lake City! Located on "The Avenues", this historic home is the best place to stay if you want be able to walk downtown, yet enjoy staying in a quaint neighborhood. Walk to downtown city center in 15 minutes (drive in 2 mins) where you will find the best nightlife, restaurants and shopping Salt Lake City has to offer!
This is the perfect basecamp to explore Salt Lake's 6 Ski Resorts!! All within a 45 minute drive. Ski or snowboard Brighton, Solitude, Snowbird, Alta, Park City, Deer Valley and Snowbasin Resorts!
This beautiful home is also located within a 5 minute drive of the University of Utah.
Salt Lake's major hospitals, such as Primary Children's Medical Center, Huntsman Cancer Institute, LDS hospital, Salt Lake Regional Medical Center and University of Utah Hospital are also within a 5 minute drive of The Avenues Cottage.

Adorable historic home!

This home was beautiful and fit our family of 5 perfectly; we definately could have had more than 5 people and there would still have been plenty of space. The location was great as well. Walkable to parks and downtown, as well as a gluten free corner bakery and breakfast place. Thank you Jami!

Convenient to Downtown

We were pleased that the property was clean, and that everything was as described. This is a well-updated Craftsman home in a mostly quiet location in The Avenues. There was plenty of room for our party of four.

Great location, charming home and perfect layout

We loved our stay. At first glance when driving up the home looked small, but once you are inside you realize there is plenty of space and the layout worked perfectly for us. The location was so close to the University of Utah campus where our daughter is going to college and also very close to almost everything you want to visit in Salt Lake City. There was plenty of areas to walk if you enjoy walking, and the outdoor seating area was a perfect place to end our day with a glass of wine.

Perfect for U Graduation

This is a older home with old charm, but modern comfort. Our son graduated from the U, and my wife and I, plus his brother and a few cousins stayed here. Our son, daughter and their significant others hung out with us in evenings. The location is excellent and the home was set up nice. Plenty of space in a nice open living area, and a porch for outdoor hang out. The upstairs master suite allowed us to sleep (in a very comfortable bed) while the kids were up late playing board games. Kitchen worked well for light cooking and snacks. We have one more graduating next year, and would happily stay here again.

Family visit

This wonderful home was located perfectly for our needs: 20+ minutes to the airport, one block from a grocery, many coffee shops and cafes nearby, minutes to downtown. We had a couple who shared the upstairs suite and two singles who shared the downstairs bath. The home was well appointed and featured a driveway, amazing backyard, ac, washer/dryer and live orchids! It was so nice to have a quiet home to return to after our very busy days.
