"I recently stayed at Locanda Del Benaco for a girls weekend away, well couldn’t have asked for a better location with views overlooking Lake Garda. On arrival the lady on reception was welcoming and showed us to our rooms, which were next door. They were modern and clean and far better than many 4 star hotels I have stayed at. "A very comfortable quiet and relaxed hotel ( originally an old convent) overlooking Salo and Lake Garda. "The hotel is a lovely location within short walk from downtown and to the beautiful walkway along the lake. The room and bathroom were modern and spotless. Breakfast was adequate. "This is the 4th time I have stayed at Hotel Duomo. It is in an excellent position right on the edge of the lake. It is a small hotel which suits me and it is only 5 minutes walk from the cafe bars, restaurants & shops. The ferry is only a couple of minutes walk away too. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean with friendly staff who always take the time to speak to you & say good morning in Italian. We opt for a room at the back of the hotel but it is spacious enough for our needs."
