"clean room and friendly staff"

"Enjoyed the property and loved the nostalgic decor. Some of furniture predated me, so It was really interesting to be using these relics from the past. Just loved it! Our main purpose of this trip was bluegill fishing, and the pond below turned out to be far superior to Tappan Lake. Great place for beginners or kids with no patience to fish because there is no waiting for a hit with the traditional worm and bobber setup. There is a hose next to the door which came in handy for the dog that can't stay out of the water. We brought our own utility blanket for her to lay on when wet. At Tappan Lake, the ticks were super thick, but we didn't pick up any on the property, probably because the trail is wide and clear, and the grassy areas were well kept and short. We found a couple morels growing next to the picnic table. A mallard has nest near the other trailer. Walking up the hill for some ice cream at the General Store is a must. My wife recommends the 4 scoop sampler. Had a great time, and hope to return while the aging dogs are still with us. They really loved it."
