"Went to a Tigers game. 3rd time staying here. Much better than the other hotels nearby. This is the first time we ate at Mugly’s after the game. The hostess Laura was awesome!! Pizza was great and best wings we’ve had in a while. Price was great too. My go to hotel now for lions and tigers games."

"The staff was friendly and helpful. I had a really early flight and they let me check in early instead of waiting all afternoon. The room and grounds were clean and quiet. The shuttle was very convenient. This was my first visit to Detroit and La Quinta made it a great experience. I'll be back! "

"Ok the one (and only!) bad thing first: the shuttle to the airport is not free. It’s $35 usd. This place is gorgeous. The neighborhood was a bit worrisome but once you figure out downtown is only a mile away, the walk is worth it- and no one was aggressive with us. I even walked by myself several times with no issues (f 34yr). The bar and restaurant staff are so accommodating and the food is delicious. "
