Enjoy your stay in our modern cottage located near the historic and beautiful downtown Salado. Large Windows offer serene panoramic views of the properties huge oak trees and various deer that reside on the property. Enjoy lounging at the nearby pergola for a peaceful and romantic fire lit experience. Nestled only .5 miles from downtown and 1 mile from the golf course you will be perfectly central to all Salado has to offer.

The spacious cottage includes luxury bedding, a 60" TV, rainfall shower, soaking tub, and beautiful views. The space comfortably sleeps two adults and two children on the sofa. A blow up mattress is available upon request.

This was a beautiful property with updated bathroom, very comfortable bed and sofa, and plenty of space. The view was wonderful, and we even saw deer in the yard! We will definitely stay there again!

Always a wonderful stay at the Salado Cottage Retreat! The property is beautiful and meticulously maintained. The location is great, close to Main St. but just far enough away to enjoy the scenery and deer. We won't stay anywhere else if the Cottage if available.

The cottage was very spacious and quiet. It is located couple of minutes from the town center. The host, Anthony, was very quick to reach out and reply to questions. We will book again in the future.

Beautiful Place!

Best Place to Stay

The Cottage has become our home away from home in Salado. It is meticulously maintained and situated on a beautiful lot with lots of large trees. The location is perfect, with great access to Main Street. We won't stay anywhere else!

Enjoyable and Relaxing

A very well kept property that was relaxing and enjoyable. We enjoyed looking out the windows as the deer went by. The accommodations met our needs. We will be back.

Just stayed one night but the host was responsive,the cottage was clean, everything worked . The location was closed to town but still had a country feel,even saw some deer in the field!

Wonderful Property - Charming Town!

This is a perfect little cottage with plenty of privacy on a beautiful property! Very close to downtown, and so fun to explore with the golf cart rental offered by Anthony. Great communication, easy check-in. We will definitely visit again!

Another fabulous stay!

We have stayed at the cottage several times now and it is consistently wonderful. Beautiful cottage, meticulously maintained, very clean, lovely surroundings and great owner/manager. Location is perfect, close to Main St. but peaceful and quiet. We don't look at other options anymore - why bother when we can stay here?

Quick 2 ni trip for a golf tournament. Guest house was perfect for our needs and the grounds were so relaxing. Would easily rent again. Host was so friendly.

Beautiful Property!

The stay exceeded our expectations! There are many custom features to the cottage that make it both comfortable and sophisticated. The location to shopping and eateries can’t be beat as it is just minutes away. The property provides quiet seclusion with beautiful views all while being close to town.

Wonderful Sister Weekend

The yard of the cottage is beatiful. The huge window looks out on the beautiful yard and trees. We had deer come through each night. It is located near town. We will definitely go there again.

Perfect Location

In Salado for a wedding and this place was close to the highway and the venue. Beautiful view of the property and deer from a panoramic window, lots of room space and amenities. Bathroom setup was pretty cool and even the coffee was good.

Anniversary Trip

The guest house was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The owners live next door, but they are friendly and respect your privacy just as they want theirs respected. They have a golf cart you can rent, which is how a lot of people travel in the town. It’s a nice, relaxing place to take life a little slower.

Beautiful Guest Cottage

You will love this place. Very friendly manager. Everything was clean and well presented. Next time we plan on renting their golfcart as the city permits the carts on the streets.

Beautiful stay

An absolutely gorgeous place to stay! The check in process was smooth and simple, pictures were sent to help guide where to park and how to access the guesthouse. It still feels very private even though it’s close to the main house, the open windows facing the property are beautiful. My first morning there I saw four deer roaming around the property! Highly recommend this place! A beautiful little getaway for my birthday weekend!
