Le Moulin de l'Abbaye

10/10 Excellent

"Stayed here after watching Les Frenchies on ytube. Hotel and staff was great loved the city and area of France. Will be back and stay again"

Old farmhouse renovated in a 3 hectares estate in Dordogne

10/10 Excellent

"We had an amazing week at this lovely farmhouse. From the moment we arrived until we had to sadly leave everything was just perfect. Lots of room for private time and the perfect spots for group dinners. The patio and pool were terrific. We had several day trips and always enjoyed “coming home.” Don’t miss a chance to stay here!"

Château le But et sa Guest House. Proche de Périgueux au Cœur du Périgord

8/10 Good

"The property is a medieval castle and guest house set in peaceful and picturesque area. The property is obviously old and large and does require considerable upkeep and maintenance, and there were a couple of issues during our stay that were disappointing. The freezer in the main house did not work. When I reported this to the owner / management company I was informed they were aware of this fact but could not do anything about it during our stay. It was not communicated by the representatives that showed us around upon arrival. We were told to use the freezer in the guest house but this is not big enough for all of the ice and food items we had purchased and to cater for 17 people. The grass around one of the swimming pools and in the courtyard areas was very long and had not been cut for a considerable time prior to our arrival. We had a BBQ on the Sunday night, then received a message the next day from the management company they were aware we had a BBQ and warned us they were illegal and we could receive a fine from the authorities. Again the ban on BBQs was not communicated to us on our arrival by the rep. If it had been we would not have purchased so much BBQ food. One of the toilet cisterns in the guest was running through and was leaking. Despite these points we had a wonderful stay and an very enjoyable time at this property which in the main suited our needs as a large party of of 17."

Beautiful 12th Century Post House with Private Pool sleeps 27 in 13 bedrooms.

10/10 Excellent

"A great house for a large party. We spent most of the time outside - our group (including six children aged 3 to 10) really enjoyed the pool, games room, toy house. The gas barbecue was really helpful and there was loads of cutlery, crockery etc. We also appreciated the generous provision of loo rolls, soap, cleaning stuff, towels etc."

Holiday Home 'La Grange' with Private Pool, Private Terrace and Wi-Fi

10/10 Excellent
