"We picked this farmhouse due to the close proximity to our family. What we found was an amazing place! Full of character and full of a family warm feel. It’s an old building so not perfect but was perfect for us. The owner and property manager were fantastic and dealt with our every request. The property is well equipped with everything you could need. As it is winter we didn’t have use of the pool but in summer I could see this place would be even better. Would definitely book again. "

We took the property for friends during our wedding weekend, and they only had the highest of praise for their stay.In addition, Jerome was incredibly helpful over our wedding weekend helping out at the Chateau. I genuinely believe the weekend would’ve been enjoyable without him there helping us, so I can’t thank him enough. I know that’s nothing to do with this property, however it gives you insight into how lovely he is.It’s very close to Aubeterre-sur-dronne which is a stunning place and its more immediate location is beautiful and peaceful.Thank you again Jerome "

"Absolutely beautiful property, immaculate, really well-equipped and comfortable. Just be aware the pond / mill is about 100m from the house down a short track so not suitable for young children on their own. We found loads to do lically, and everyone was very friendly "

"A lovely break - the house was pretty much as described.The pool is great - the outside eating space is fantastic and there are 3 big fridges to keep everything cold. The living accommodation is great and it really is a lovely house. Tennis court is in good nick - but bring your own racquets and balls as the stuff there is not great.Thierry - who sorts out any issues was great and really responsive. A few small negatives - the oven is pretty useless and I see that previous reviews have mentioned this - a low cost solution that would make things easier for guests. Secondly - there are no restaurants within walking distance as in the description - but some good ones a short drive away. Finally - you have to pay to use the bikes in the photos - 20 euros a bike - just so you are aware these are not included. "
