Andy and Lisa greeted us on arrival, showed us around and made it clear that they were always available if we needed something. Beds and chairs all very comfortable. "As a family of 6 adults and 2 children we stayed here for just over a week in August 2025. We were attending a wedding at Chateau de la Couronne in Marthon.The house had everything we needed, the children loved the pool, we had several bbqs and also visited Brantome and St Estephe.The bakery and supermarket in Javelhac (10 mins drive) were more than sufficient for our everyday needs.We had 3 amazingly clear nights and were treated to the best skies Ive seen since visitng the outback in Australia - even 'STEVE' made an appearance.The only thing to note is that it is the 3rd bedroom (with double bed and bunks) that had the very low door, which makes it a bit awkward for adults,but we made it work.Overall we had a fab time and would love to return."

"We had a fabulous 2 week stay at La Maison du Bonheur. We couldn't fault the beautiful property and surroundings. The pool was perfect for the hot weather we experienced. Cathy and her family were great, generous hosts. Getting a tour of their bee hives was a particular highlight! Overall, would highly recommend"

"The check in was great. We had a wonderful holiday at the house, beautifully appointed, it was clean and perfect sleeping arrangements for all 10 of us.it had everything you needed in the kitchens (2) for cooking, plenty of plates, utensils, pots ,dishes etc. two dishwashers (one a bit temperamental). The pool area was perfect, plenty of room to eat and cook outside, loads of games, books , dvd”s, garden toys and table tennis for children and adults. The location was excellent 7km for the nearest town. All in all a perfect place to chill relax and have a great holiday. Thank you ."
