"This is a top class hotel. It is situated right in the centre of a lovely Loire town with ample free parking. We had a superior room, which was very good value and extremely spacious. We especially appreciated the large bath, a rarity in French hotels."

The room was clean and perfect for our overnight stay. We weren’t aware that the only access to the rooms on the first floor is up and outside stone staircase - not ideal in the wet. "We enjoyed the serenity of the location, the nature and beauty of the house and gardens. The home was secure with a gate. The animals were a bonus. We loved the old house and the antique furniture and the level of furnishings. The accommodation is very spacious and comfortable. What we found a bit odd was no curtains in the kitchen/living room and lounge areas but we have experienced the same thing in another cottage in France and therefore presume that this is the standard. In all, the advertising was exactly what was delivered and I wish to thank the host for the clarity in communication and response to my questions."
