"This was our first time in Mont St Michel. This hotel is located right off the Main Street near the entrance. It was easy to find. Staff was very helpful since you have to park your car off the site and then take a shuttle bus. Staff helped us to navigate that. The stairs were narrow as expected so travel light is the key. Rooms are comfortable. "

"The room is clean and spacious. It has great view of the ocean bay. Staffs are friendly. Hotel has no elevator and the stone stairs are steep. Small luggage is recommended. Breakfast is sufficient but not very tasty. We had a wonderful experience. "

"This was an excellent, budget friendly hotel with easy access to the abbey. Our room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was wonderful with many options. The shuttle bus stopped less than a block away and ran continuously throughout the day and night. One thing to note, when traveling in the off season you must check in and out at a different hotel down the street and a code is required at the gate to the town. "

"We had the hotel to ourselves for the 2 nights we stayed at L’Ermitage, so our experience was extra special and the service incredibly intimate. Other travelers shouldn’t reasonably expect the same level of service, but you can rest assured that you will be well cared for and comfortable. My only caveat is the WiFi. It was spotty when we arrived and stopped working entirely the next day. If you require consistent high speed internet during your stay, you may need to reconsider. But if internet isn’t an issue, there isn’t a better place to stay near Mont St Michel. "
