The couple and their young daughter acquired the house and estate in 2018 to develop it as a vineyard, and a year later they opened four guest rooms. "We were in the oldest part of the hotel and it was kind of magical! No elevator but a winding staircase up what must have been a tower, with the room opening directly off the staircase. It was like being a princess in a tower. The room was clean and spacious. The staff brought the bags to our rooms and were very helpful with dinner suggestions. We were only there one night, but if (when!) we are back I will wear a beautiful cocktail dress and sit in the gorgeous lounge with a glass of champagne. "
