"Ronald was a fantastic and friendly host who made us very welcome for our week's holiday based in Nîmes. There was everything we needed, a comfortable bed, very hot water for showers, a lovey private patio to relax in and the kitchen was well equipped too. A short walk in to town was combined with us regularly using the number 7 bus to the centre and to the rail station for our day trips. "The air conditioning was not good. We were hot all night. The breakfast was very good, but you had to pay for it"

"Reception refused me to check-in although I have pre-paid incl breakfast. Rude, helpless guy at reception, first let me wait 10 mins as he was CHATTING to another guest without any eye contact or saying anything to me. Then he wanted a EUR 300 security deposit to my card, it did not work after searching 2 mins for the card machine. I gave him 300 in cash, he said "not acceptable". Then he tried another 5 mins to refund it via the non working card. My card worked before and after every time. I had to look for another hotel. My prepayment was not refunded as promised. I contacted Expedia, there is still no refund."
