Saltwater Zen 2 -- Your Oceanfront Retreat on Fripp Island

The price includes all fees, amenity cards, and resort taxes. No additional charges!

Ocean front location — directly adjacent to the breakwater barrier. The peaceful sound of the ocean will melt your cares away as you relax in this tastefully decorated home.

This exceptional property has hardwood flooring throughout and two balconies for absorbing the beautiful ocean view.

The kitchen has everything you’ll need including a combination coffee maker and k-cup machine to help you start your day.

If you’re looking for some downtime, there’s expanded Cable TV as well as high-speed internet to keep you connected. Google Home is available (just say “hey Google”) to provide you with music in the living room and in the bedroom. And, you can pack light and use our washer and dryer.

1 queen master bedroom upstairs with a pullout sofa downstairs. Saltwater Zen is an absolutely fantastic location for a couple or a small family.

Fripp Island is an absolutely fantastic location. 25 beach access points and several freshwater pools. There are several restaurants right on the island and even more great options in Beaufort, SC -- a short 12-15 minute drive into town.

* Fido will have to stay behind — pets are not allowed — sorry for that.

* Note that the resort recently imposed a 12.8% tax on all rental homes, we have had to raise our fees slightly to account for that new tax. It will show up in your price quote as "Club Fee".

We enjoyed our stay at Ocean Cottage! Absolutely loved the views -- waking up and looking out at the ocean everyday was such a treat. Also enjoyed the access to the semi-private pool (much less crowded than the resort pools). Michael and Tonja were super responsive when we ran into issue with A.C. The whole thing was resolved in under an hour! Also grateful for easy check-in and check-out.Fripp Island is a magical place!

Wonderful location for spotting dolphins

This is our first stay at this property. We have rented the property next door in the past. Great layout for two adults. We were able to watch the dolphins practically every day. Check in/out was seamless. Amenity cards were appreciated. We would consider renting this property again.

Beautiful escape

Perfect home in a perfect place. The ocean views were beautiful from the two porches. Saw dolphins, deer and even a raccoon went scurrying by. Beautiful Fripp island there to explore and close to Hunting island to see as well. The home had everything we needed and more.

We love Fripp. This cute beach cottage is perfect for two people. Great views and location!! Amazing watching the dolphins swimming right from the deck. Communication with the host was really good and they addressed a minor issue quickly. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful ocean front cottage

This cottage is just right for a couple’s vacation. It is supplied with everything we needed and the ocean view from the decks is fantastic. I could sit on the deck all day and listen to the ocean and watch the dolphins (I didn’t, but I could)!! There are two swimming pools within walking distance (one you’re looking at from the deck) and a restaurant right across the street.

Relaxing getaway

1st time at Fripp Island and so happy with this location! We appreciated being away from the busier area, where the restaurants and other pools were. Ocean Pointe Grille on the golf course was within walking distance or golf cart ride. Rented a golf cart that was perfect for this location to drive around the island. Loved seeing the dolphins from our balcony.

Great views of ocean including dolphins surfacing frequently. Had minor issue but communication was easy and issue was resolved quickly. We walked 5K loop several times on sidewalks, low-traffic roads, and retaining wall next to ocean. Deer near roads seem tame. Good restaurants including Seaside Grill (Wednesday shrimp night) and Beedos (Vegan smashburgers) within 20 minute drive.

Relaxing Getaway

We chose this property for the location - water views are stunning at sunrise and sunset. We booked the hot tub balcony, and could se that unit next door, but ours didn't include a hot tub off the master/only bedroom upstairs. Wish we had the info about the cruises earlier - we missed the shelling cruise and there were no other options during our stay. But the community amenities were lovely, and the proximity to Savannah perfect.

Our stay was once again perfectly peaceful! Saltwater Zen is a warm and inviting oasis for rest and relaxation. The porches are perfect for morning quiet times, breakfast, lunch, and evening nightcaps. Let the salt air and soothing sounds of the sea carry your worries away! The Ocean Cottages pool is calm and quiet, a well kept secret in the island. The property is exceptionally clean and well appointed, and the owners are most attentive to any concerns. This is our favorite place on the island! All we can say is…book the trip!

This trip was amazing! The home was absolutely perfect! The owners have thought of everything. It was the perfect house in the perfect location. I would love to come back and will definitely be recommending this home to friends and family! Tip- if it storms while you are there watch for dolphins! Perfect Cottage and Stay

My wife and I booked 705 for a golf event, three nights on Fripp. The location was perfect. The property was clean, which is most important. The owners communicated clearly and were responsive to questions. The sunrise was beautiful every morning, including a rainy one, on the back porch. You have everything you need in the room, kitchens, amenities, etc. Huge shower. Samsung washer and dryers. Easy access and easy to get anywhere else on the island you may want. Short golf cart ride to the beach club and Sandbar. Short walk to the Ocean Point golf club. We definitely hope to stay again!

Fripp in November

This was my 4th visit to Fripp, but my first in the winter. The island and this property was amazing. Perfect size for my wife and I with all the comforts of home. The property was clean and very well furnished for a rental. The beaches were empty and there were very few visitors on the island. I had an issue with my Amenity Cards (due to Guest Services) and the owner was very helpful and communicative and helped resolve my issue quickly. He even refunded me the charge for my troubles. I would definately rent the property again!
