Welcome to your home-away from home on beautiful Fripp Island. A private gated community perfect for a relaxing family retreat or quiet time alone.

Enjoy three-and-one-half miles of pristine uncrowded beaches, wildlife sanctuaries, bike paths and nature walks. Fripp Island is located about 20 minutes from the quaint historic town of Beaufort, 60 miles to Savannah, and 90 miles to Charleston.

You will enjoy the comfort of our three bedroom , two bath home in the private community of Deer Lake including WIFI, a fully equipped newly renovated kitchen with all new appliances. A large dining area, jacuzzi tub and separate shower in master. King size bed in master, two guest rooms each with queen-size beds. 300 count linens and very comfortable beds.

Our guests are welcome to enjoy the private Deer Lake pool and children's playground just steps from your front door. Sip coffee in the morning on the front porch watching the deer in the front yard and eat enjoy private dinners on the screened back porch overlooking , wooded, nature filled yard and creek.

Spend your days at the pool, beach or just relaxing and exploring the island. Golf carts available to rent through Fripp Island Golf carts. You will soon see why the Fripp Island area has been chosen to film so many movies, such as Forrest Gump, Prince of Tides and Junglebook.

Fripp Island is also the chosen home of author Pat Conroy, famous for writing several books. July though October is nesting time for the turtles on the beach. If you come during this time be sure to follow directions on visiting the sites.

Fripp Island home

What a nice home and neighborhood. Loved being able to walk around and enjoy the view. The golf cart was great for traveling to get food or a trip out to the beach. Diane was available to suggest places to go. Also the pool in the neighborhood was a real plus. It was a pleasure

Wonderful Home & The Deer!

What a beautiful home! This home was exactly as described and that is just beautiful. It has everything you need for your stay! Kitchen is decked out with all that is wanted. The beds were comfortable and the closets were very spacious to tuck away are suitcases and hang our clothes. Perfect location on the island and all the Deer! They were precious. This was our first visit to the island and we will definitely like to come back! We so enjoyed our stay!

We really enjoyed the quiet neighborhood away from the main roads. It was a bit of a drive to beach, but worth it to enjoy a quieter location. The neighborhood was full of deer, and we saw several alligators, including a huge one! We would stay here again.

Relaxing Island time

The house was great & it was as advertised. We had plenty of room for the 6 of us. They had thought of all the details in the kitchen & throughout the house. We loved seeing all the deer all over the island & we appreciated having the golf cart as part of the house to be able to see the sights. The weather was as good as you could hope for in SC in March.

Amazing Family Vacation

Our family vacation was amazing! This house was perfect for our group. The layout of the house is amazing and they provided so many different things that made a beach vacation even better. Beach supplies, bikes, golf cart, kitchen supplies, extra pillows and blankets, and so much more. We hope to return!

Summer vacay

We loved staying in this home. Its a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. We have stayed at several homes on the island over the years and this was on the top of the list of homes we loved. The homeowners were quick to respond if we had any questions. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Quiet Spot in Deer Lake

Very nice “cottage home” in the Deer Lake neighborhood on Fripp Island. Very quiet location away from the crowds. Beds are very nice, kitchen has everything you need. Short golf cart ride to beaches, golf and tennis.

Beautiful, comfortable home!

All of us said, "WOW" when we walked into the home. To me, it looks more beautiful in-person than it does in the on-line photos. Very lovely place! The only negative is the beach bikes look better in the online photos than in-person. Some of them need maintenance. The golf cart was perfect and ran flawlessly.

Perfect

Our 6th time to Fripp, this was our favorite house we’ve rented. Love the layout of the house, plenty of space with everything being close on the same floor. Everything was very clean. Well stocked with essentials and much more. Great screened-in porch with ceiling fan. Beds very comfortable. Loved the neighborhood and the convenient location on the island. Only had one minor issue during our stay and Diane handled it immediately and was so kind. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone.

Relax and Reset

The home is in a quiet neighborhood with comfortable beds with a well stocked kitchen for cooking. Thanks for thinking of the extras. Golf cart and bikes were a nice touch even though it was to cold for us to use. Thanks for sharing your home with us. Just the weekend we needed to relax and reset.

Great house!

We loved our stay here. It was so fun to watch for all the deer on the island. My kids loved riding on the golf cart. The beaches were not crowded. The house was great to come back to after some very hot days at the ocean. There were plenty of board games to keep us entertained. My last couple trips I’ve had some pretty bad beds to sleep on but that was not the case here. Beds were very comfortable! The owner was very easy to communicate with. It was a great week.

Amazing Stay!

We have immediate family that resides on Fripp and have been visiting (and have always stayed with) them for 25 years. This was our first time renting and I admit my expectations were high! First and foremost, Diane is an EXCELLENT communicator and very friendly! The home is cozy and has any and all amenities you would need! My daughters and I loved the Aveeno shampoo and conditioner! Beds were comfy and the pup loved the screened porches! Great little neighborhood with many deer. If we need to rent in the future, we will definitely be staying here again!

We had a wonderful girl’s weekend away and the pictures don’t do it justice. Commutation was great with our host and the private pool was wonderful. We loved having the golf cart. I would say to make sure to bring your own beach chairs and if you are looking to cook a lot some of the skillets have been well loved. The beds were super comfortable and everything was clean and neat. We enjoyed coffee on our private porch every morning and felt the price was a great value. Thanks again!
