**ASK ABOUT MONTHLY RATES**

Enjoy an escape from reality with all of the comforts of your home. Take a stroll to the beach with your coffee in the morning or favorite cocktail as the sun goes down. You may even get lucky enough to see the dolphins play in the surf! Enjoy relaxing on the balcony as you watch the spectacular views of the ocean, feel the ocean breeze, and listen to the peaceful sounds that surround you.

This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom recently UPDATED 3rd floor unit provides an open floor plan that is bright and spacious. The living area features a sofa (pull out bed), loveseat, and TV. It opens onto a deck with a fabulous ocean and pool view from the living/dining area. A wireless high speed internet connection means you can sit on your deck and watch the shrimp boats go by while you surf the net!

The kitchen is fully equipped with full refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, cookware, drinkware, and freshly updated cabinets! There is a brand new washer and dryer in the kitchen for you to use at your convenience. The dining area provides space for 4 people to sit, with an additional 2 seats at the counter.

The master bedroom features a queen sized bed, dresser, ceiling fan, plenty of storage space, new carpeting, and a private bathroom/full bath tub.

The guest bedroom offers two twin beds, ceiling fan, new carpeting and an attached private bathroom with a stand up shower.

Enjoy all that Harbor Island has to offer:
2 community pools; one that is right in our “backyard” and the larger club pool with kiddie pool, playground, and volleyball court. You will also have access to tennis courts, basketball courts, pickleball court and a chipping green. You will also be steps away from 2.5 miles of private beach. Wrapped by the Harbor River, Saint Helena Sound, the Atlantic Ocean, and Johnson’s Creek, the vistas are always changing! Hunting Island State Park is another fun spot to visit, and is right down the road (pass included).

Designated an Audubon Important Bird Area, Harbor Island is home and host to a myriad of bird life including nesting egrets in the lagoon areas where you can sometimes get a glimpse of Lady Gaga, the onsite gator. Fishing is allowed from the beach, and the island has a crabbing dock. Right across the Harbor River Bridge, Gay Seafood brings in fresh fish and shrimp. If you’d rather have the cooking done for you, The Shrimp Shack is just across the street from Gay’s. A long local tradition, it serves up mainly fried fresh seafood and simple fare available for takeout or to eat there at the picnic tables.

Less than a quarter mile in the other direction is another long established casual restaurant, Johnson’s Creek Tavern, known locally as JCT. A combination bar and restaurant, you will find people of all ages there enjoying a meal or drinks on the outside decks, and listening to the live music that is occasionally offered. Many other restaurant options ranging from fast food to fine dining are available on nearby Saint Helena Island, Lady’s Island, and in Beaufort.

Beaufort is 14 miles from Harbor Island (you will pass through it on your way). It is a charming historic town! You can easily spend a day or two just exploring the downtown historic and the Bay Street area shopping district, strolling the waterfront park that stretches along the Intracoastal Waterway, browsing art galleries and taking in a horse and carriage ride or a dolphin watching cruise on the Beaufort River. There are also plenty of dining options to choose from!

Please note that Harbor Island Owners association requires a car pass to enter the private island. The vehicle pass fees are per vehicle and determined by Harbor Island.

Currently the following pass fees apply (the first car is covered in your booking): a one night pass $20, 2 nights $30, 3 nights $40, 4 nights $50, 5 nights $60, 6 nights $70, 7 nights $80, 8-14 nights $100, 15-21 nights $125, 22-30 nights $150.

*Community pools are open from April 1 through October 31.

Great Spring Break!
We had a great time as always at Harbor Island! I loved the location of the condo. The view was my favorite of any place we’ve ever stayed on the island. Absolutely beautiful!

Very good
Property was ocean front with short walk to beach. Location was further away from commercial areas than desired. Condo was on third floor which was very inconvenient due to our age. I wish we had known beforehand. Condition of the condo was good and was well equipped. Roku tv was very difficult for us to operate since we had very little experience with it. We experienced a problem with the door lock. Owner was very responsive but we were locked out for over two hours. Overall I would rate the facility and our experience as very good. Owner was very accommodating.

Nice place to stay
I liked the walk to the river/ ocean. Nice view. Everything was clean. Wish they had provided at least 1 coffee, sugar, creamer, to start out the first morning. Absolutely no condiments. Only a salt and pepper.

Good... and not so good
First the good: Generally speaking, the inside of the condo was clean. The kitchen was new and had all the needed supplies. The washer and dryer came in handy. The view from the balcony looks out over the ocean. The overall location is convenient. It is located close to the state park and the condo comes with the park pass. We enjoyed the pickleball courts and the pool. Now the not-so-good: there were some issues with the condo itself. Some areas are in desperate need of an upgrade: the bathrooms and mattresses are both pretty run down. The carpeting on the balcony and entryway needs to be replaced and the seated is very limited on the balcony. All of this could be overlooked but the beach itself, I feel, was not as advertised. It was virtually unswimmable in that you literally had to walk a hundred yards into the ocean and still could be knee-deep in water. There were literally no waves (it was silent). This could be a product of the weather though even calm beaches have a gentle surf. Make sure to bring bug spray for the morning and evening hours. While it was beautiful in its own way (sunsets / wildlife) it wasn't what you typically would expect when going to the beach. We were forced to drive a short distance to the state park each day to enjoy a "real" beach.
