"The overall stay was good. The owners were great and very helpful and friendly. The only problem was actually locating the property itself. The area code for the sat nav took you to a crossroad and it took me a good hour driving around before I found the property. I did suggest that they put a sign roadside pointing towards the property. "Loved the warm calm atmosphere. A magical supper served to us on tables outside on the lawn by delightful staff. The chateaux is full of beautiful fabrics/textures/colours. Just enough attention from the staff but we felt free to be left to ourselves. Lovely grounds to walk the dog and meet the resident goats and chickens."
