The first receptionist was terrible , she doesn’t care about guest comfort. The family rooms are in a second building and has to use stairs, this is a wrong advertising.
Until we Getz back from the tours like 6pm, Aa new receptionist gave us 2 single room with elevator and we could have a nice stay.
Unless you have no heavy bags this hotel woth it, they don’t have porter

Walkable distance to city centre and public transport
Staff generally very friendly and helpful
But one of the three lifts was out of action, as well as two of the four hot drink machines in the breakfast room. Also the hot drink machine in the reception area was not working, and since there are no kettles in the rooms, this was quite inconvenient

Pros- Buffet breakfast was average but good selection. Close walking distance to Gare du Midi station, metro, bus, etc. Room was comfortable and good size. Staff was lovely and welcoming.
Cons- Floor quite dusty, couldn’t turn off air con from the room (although staff did assist when issue raised), burning smell from microwave and neighbourhood not the best.
Overall was value for money and didn’t expect a lot but was a decent stay for the 2 days spent in Brussels.

"Honestly, the only "bad" thing that comes to mind is perhaps a few more options for breakfast, though I understand the space was limited. Other than that, I commend the staff first and foremost for their flexibility and kindness."
