The hotel is very well kept. The room was spacious, simple but well maintained and comfortable. Parking is on street or at Jean Bart underground parking at the top of the street, I would definitely utilise again."

"Das kleine und schon etwas ältere Häuschen liegt am Rand des Natur- und Vogelschutzgebietes. Das ermöglicht wunderbare Spaziergänge und eine Ruhe, wie ich sie kaum je erlebt habe. Das Haus ist klein, aber zweckmäßig, die überdachte Terrasse einladend, der voll umzäunte Garten ein Hundetraum. Die Matratzen sind ein wenig älter und sehr weich, für jemand, der sehr hohe Ansprüche an Reinlichkeit und Ausstattung hat werden es ein paar Spinnweben zu viel sein. Wir haben hier eine herrliche Woche...

"The apartment was in a great location, literally a stone's throw from the seafront. The apartment had everything we needed, but we did have a problem with the beds - the description said one bedroom had single beds in, the other a double. We brought bedcovers to fit these beds and has such had to buy a double set on our first day in France. I"

"I think Sophie needs to translate her communication to English before she send it as I had to use the translator to understand her message,only because on the site says communication possible in bilingual..also it says sheets available,but £6 A pair I asked for explanation but not clear ended up with no bed bottom sheet and pillow cover ...she is lovely it's my second time with her..all the best"

"My son has Parkinson’s Disease and needs easy access. My friend is 89 with mobility problems. More toilets nearer to ground floor bedrooms would have been useful (but they both coped well with light to cross to the ground floor toilet by the front door) I used the upper floor opposite end of the propertywhich might have exit problems in an emergency). "Une belle maison en centre-ville à proximité des transports en commun gratuits, à 10 min en voiture de la plage de Malo-Les-Bains, 15 min de celle de Leffrinckoucke (accessible aux chiens). Logement soigné, bien équipé et spacieux pour 6 personnes. Les étages sont bien isolés du rez-de-chaussé. Stationnement aisé et gratuit. Très bonne communication avec la propriétaire qui a été très arrangeante sur nos horaires d'arrivée et de départ. Nous reviendrons certainement."

"We booked our trip the day before as a last minute break. Sabine is a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The gite is very close to the Belgian border and we visited several historic sites as well as a brewery tour. Would highly recommend as a base for anyone wishing to explore Passchendale, Ypres and other WW1 places of interest. Thank you Sabine, we very much enjoyed our stay."

"We only have 5+ remarks for our stay! The host was terrific...nice and very responsive. The property is an oasis of beautifully manicured nature. It is a large piece of property that is secure, private and well taken care of. It was like camp for the children between being able to safely roam freely, ride provided bikes, utilize the pool/climbing structure/trampoline and more! The house is fantastic and really well built. Lots of great open space with wonderful natural light and huge windows....

"The house is facing the water, with a small garden at the back. Parking is plentiful. It’s really quiet but a free boat crosses the water for about 6 hours a day… there are lots of bars / restaurants on the other side. The house is beautiful - 5 bedrooms, with the top floor having 5 single beds with an en-suite shower and toilet. All rooms were large and comfortable. A good kitchen with everything you’d need for a stay. Lovely dining room/ lounge. Would really recommend for a family."
