Our room was in the basement and was musty when we first arrived. This room is far less cozy than some of the other rooms pictured on the site with what felt like random furniture from a church basement. Given the price we paid, I was a little disappointed. I'm guessing the rooms upstairs are preferable.But to be fair, having our own entrance to this room was nice and the morning continental breakfast was also nice.

The location was great, the room was very simple. Not even Q-Tips in the bathroom.
Had to put dirty towels in a bag and leave I t outside the room.
The Tv had mostly paid tv stations, I have never seen that before.
The breakfast left at the door in the morning was interesting to say the least.
Bar only opens at 5:30, so if you have been out and about all day the only place to go is to your room….
Our room was next to the elevator, a bit loud and we could hear foot steps from upstairs as well the floor above us…..

The hotel itself was very comfortable and welcoming. I enjoyed the self serve coffee on the first floor. Unfortunately the hot tub was out of order during my stay. I ended up parking at a garage near UQAM which was $17/day
