"Firstly the staff are lovely and very helpful. The room was very dated and tatty, it needed refurbishing. We stayed two nights, the air con initially wasn’t working and once the lovely gentleman got it working it was almost non existent. The air con unit was full of dust, I doubt it had been serviced for years and barely worked the first night and on the second night it didn’t work at all, I got no sleep as I was so hot. "Amazing place. We were greeted by the super-friendly staff even before we entered the hotel. We were looking with our kids at their cows in the pasture, and the owner(?) came out and gave our kids food to feed the cows. It was a great start, and it only got better from there. The room was very spacious and clean, the food was amazing, and the location is perfect for hiking in the area. It was simply a wonderful experience. "
