"A really lovely location with lots of potential but not well looked after and somewhat shabby. We were told the washing machine did not work and the kitchen smelled of gas - even when the tank was turned off. Several small issues and the host was fairly responsive, but we had a great deal of difficulty finding the property when we arrived (as there was minimal information provided) and had to disrupt several neighbours in order to find it. "

"This old building has been converted to an attractive and comfortable gite, with excellent views from the garden. It's a long way up the hill so quite cool. Hard to find the right building as we did not have adequate directions. The giveaway is the owner's name on the cover for the electricity meter on the wall alongside the road. "It was reasonably clean, but the bathroom was shabby and it was some sort of shower kit that combined sink, toilet and shower altogether with little separation. There is a big step up to enter and exit that was awkward. Room is tiny but functional. The rate is very low so one night is ok, Staff is terrific. "

Could do better !!!

"No one at check in @ 17.00pm Booking in machine would not recognise my booking despite me having already paid. Was waiting 30 minutes for someone to turn up. Breakfast should have been at 06.30am but was not open until 06.45 and the manager was still in pyjamas hair not brushed. Not very professional. Personally I would have sacked her and found a new manager. "
