"Petite maison sympathique, mais pas d'ustensiles de cuisine potables permettant de cuisiner. Dommage aussi que la machine à café ne soit que pour les Espresso,pas pratique pour le petit déjeuner.Pas de cloche dans le micro ondes, pas assez de vaisselle pour se servir du lave vaisselle, et pas de plat pour le four. 10/10 Excellent

"This was a fabulous hotel. Very friendly & helpful staff. Easy parking. Spacious, clean, elegant & comfortable room. Excellent restaurant dining & good breakfast choice. Beautiful garden filled with art sculptures. Our only regret is that our 1-night stay didn’t give us time to try the spa facility. We would definitely love to come back another time for a longer stay. (British couple staying for 1-night leisure trip.)"

"The rooms are air-conditioned which was a necessity this July. There is free parking opposite the hotel but for Euro 15 you can park in their indoor garage (limited to 4 spaces though). The check-in was disorganised as the receptionist walked us to the indoor garage (38 degrees and 100m away) to show us, then walked us back to the hotel, then we drove our car from the free car park opposite to the indoor garage, then walked back again. It would have been more organised to tell us to follow her in the car to avoid the back and forth in such extreme heat! Although we had paid upfront, we were asked to pay upon arrival. The receptionist said she would get the invoice corrected but in the morning, upon check-out, we were asked again to pay for the room. I had to show proof of payment to them! However, having said that, the hotel is centrally-located just opposite the start of the pedestrianised old town and the rooms were very cool due to an efficient air-conditioning unit. We did not reserve breakfast as we thought it was expensive at Euro 16 per person. Dole is a lovely place so I would recommend this hotel if you are passing by."

"The renovations to the main buildings over the last 2 years have been done to a very high standard. Rooms are modern and now have the benefit of good air conditioning. Restaurant areas are much improved and food remains excellent. The breakfast room is a delight and breakfast food is of a high standard. Staff are very friendly and helpful. But the hotel has two significant problems at the moment. Firstly the large garden to the front of the house is in very poor condition. Previously this was a magnificent lawned area that complimented the grandeur of the main building, but now it looks wild and out of control. Secondly, disabled access is poor. Both the front and back of the main building are now largely pedestrianised. Previously it was possible to drop off a disabled person at the front and back doors of the hotel. The indoor and outdoor pools and hot tub lack any handrails for use by a disabled person. The bathroom for the designated disabled bedroom is not easy to use and has fundamental design mistakes."
