The staff were all very friendly and helpful, apart from knowing nothing about the local bus service. The food in the restaurant was really good, plenty to choose from. The only thing I couldn't bear was the loud music playing every morning at breakfast. It is definitely not for those with sensory difficulties or preferring a peaceful start to your day.
I was quite peeved that on arrival, the booking price had increased by £97 which was a bit of a shock. Keep this in mind - prices change daily apparently.
There were issues with the TV and getting the temperature with the water but house keeping came and sorted this - and the bath is extremely slippery.
It's set in a lovely location with plenty of shops and places to eat. I would definitely recommend it.

"Great hotel for a break, rooms are amazing albeit a little dark so if you have SAD then maybe not for you. Great welcome when we arrived. Only negative, and this is not for all, the menu could be a little simpler, perhaps the addition of Gammon. Could not fault the breakfasts"
