Very cozy hotel in the small quiet town of Shiroshi. We stayed here only one night for easy access to the Zao Fox Sanctuary the following day, it was well worth all the effort to go and see. Easy access to Shinkansen bullet train, and a Family Mart right across the street.

Surprisingly huge 12 (or so) hotel right in the middle of nowehere. Looks like it could easily belong in central Tokyo, Very modern, comfortable stay. The Tanya was really a great stay. The Onsen water is wonderful; the staff is great, as well as the food. It is as clean as it can be considering its age and number of visitors. I will go back again.
