"This was a return visit to Golden Haven, and it's a great go-to choice. Rooms are spacious, clean, and the property is in a safe neighborhood within walking distance to town. Nice extras behind the property: ping-pong table, bocce ball, cornhole, and bicycles. The office staff is always friendly. I'd suggest water bottles in the room as Napa water (not just at this facility) is not the best tasting, but there is a water filtration station near the office. Look forward to our next visit. "Clean, quiet property. Gas fireplace made it cozy for the cool mornings. Kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials. Close to all the most interesting and beautiful wineries. Hosts were very responsive to any questions. Outdoor gas fireplace was great in the late afternoon for having a glass of wine. We highly recommend this property and will choose it again for any future stays. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this Farpoint house! It was the perfect amount of space for a girl's getaway weekend.The location and property was beautiful -- pool and hot tub both heated to perfection. Communication with the host was great; very quick responses. The check-in process was slightly confusing, looking for the house code in a separate email from our VRBO communication. But we called and talked with the host who shared all necessary info over the phone immediately. Everyone had a fantastic stay!"

"The pool and connected jacuzzi were disgustingly dirty and littered with live worms. And the patio furniture was dirty as well. When I contacted the host their response was that we shouldn’t be using the pool area this time of year. However their instructions state that the in ground jacuzzi is usable year-round. So that didn’t make sense and instead of being apologetic and service oriented they went on the offensive. It was strange. Additionally we got locked out of the master bathroom due to a faulty lock. I personally own apartment buildings and a bathroom lock should not be able to do what it did. When I contacted the host, Jordan said “I don’t see how that’s on us”. I was taken aback. I had implore them to have someone repair it so we could access our bathroom. It took hours before it was repaired. We were not able to use the bathroom until late in the morning. We still can’t believe that we were blamed for locking ourselves out of the bathroom! That was not okay. Lastly there were no detailed instructions how to use the above ground jacuzzi. Got little assistance. Ultimately I figured it out but it required finding other equipment away from the jacuzzi that really required written step by step instructions; that didn’t exist. Our experience with Jordan was as if they had never been to the property themselves and knew nothing about it. And certainly didn’t like hearing about problems and dealt with us in a very unprofessional and sophomoric manner. "

"Our stay at Casa Loma was spectacular and the ideal setting for our family gathering (six adults, four small children). Located on a stunning hilltop, the home offers breathtaking sunrise and sunset views that made every moment feel special.The house was impeccably clean and perfectly appointed. It was incredibly adaptable for all ages, with comfortable, welcoming furnishings that created warm family evenings. We especially loved the oversized dining table for group meals and the exceptionally well-equipped kitchen. A huge plus: every large comfy bedroom has its own en-suite, making the stay seamless for everyone.Despite the secluded "away from it all" feel, the property is very accessible for Instacart and Uber Eats. The drive into downtown Calistoga and St. Helena wineries was quick and easy. Even on a rainy day, the jacuzzi was at the perfect temperature for us to enjoy.A wonderful surprise was the private, well-marked hiking trail starting right at the house. We all took advantage of it, from 1–2 mile walks with the kiddos to 4–8 mile treks for the adults. Working with the host, Pierre, was a pleasure—he was extremely kind and responsive! Casa Loma far exceeded our expectations; we will definitely be back!"
