"The cabin was a nice weekend getaway. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff checked on us via text to make sure we didn’t need anything (much appreciated). We would definitely book again, but for a change we would try another location (farther from home). This location was nice and convenient to South Haven (a favorite location of ours)."

"We have had multi family gatherings for over 10 years now, this house had one of the best kitchens we have experienced. Double oven, double dishwasher and large surface range made meal prep and clean up a snap! Beautiful setting on the Black River and property with space made our stay great. Our host communicated very well, we we never left guessing, they have also put a very nice local information book that was very useful for planing outings. Great views of the river from any spot in the house. "

"Terrific and spacious double property that supported our family of 17 and a dog. The homes were immaculate and our hosts were very accommodating in answering all questions quickly and helping us find local food places. The great room in the main house was perfect for meals and gathering for fun and games. A favorite space was the 3 season room with views of the garden and expansive green space—so peaceful!The “older” generation appreciated having the smaller home for a quieter space to head to bed earlier, and wake up early without interrupting the late night games of the 20-40-year-olds. The homes had all needed extras including some baby gear and a needed pet bed. Everyone enjoyed their stay!Thank you for the lovely and comfortable accommodations!"

"We had a wonderful time and the house couldn’t have been better. Had everything you could think of, even small details like a high chair and baby gate, but all decent shampoo, smore roasters, aluminum foil and baggies, paddle boards and kayaks. And the pantoon boat was a nice add. The lake was big enough to be fun but small enough to feel safe. We stayed with three families with kids age 1 to 15. The garage and ping pong was a favorite hang out too! "

"It was a very nice cottage in a cute town. The only thing I would like to see done differently would be the check in and check out time. Especially having to be packed and out by 10am. We were running a little behind and the housekeeper was already there by 10:05 and inside the cottage cleaning while we were still in it. I completely understand she has a job to do but a little privacy and understanding would’ve been helpful. It just felt awkward."

"We stayed at this unique property for a family vacation, and our experience was amazing! We especially loved the two separate indoor hangout spaces, which were stocked with lots of games, a pool table, and air hockey. The easy access to the lake—with a paddle boat, two paddle boards, and life jackets—was a big plus.The views from the decks were beautiful and peaceful, and we enjoyed playing games and relaxing while watching the kids have fun in the water. The short drive to South Haven made it easy to enjoy the beach as well.Our host was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions or issues. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing family getaway in Michigan!"
