As can be expected from a 2-star property. Really rough and noisy guests staying there. Host was helpful at check in and provided a “refurbished” room. I guess you get what you pay for.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Because it was so small I didn't expect it to be so charming. Though going through rentiavion I felt at home would stay again Bathroom clean very important
Was in town at the Golden1 Center for a four day event. For the location and ease of access to the major city places, it’s conveniently located. The pricing was right, and if you are in town for official business and little time to spend at the hotel save for sleeping then this place is pretty a great deal. Carry some cash. The owners (couple) very personable and responsive. Would surely return.

Clean but noisy.
Internet wasn't working, so they couldn't scan my drivers license. They accommodated my desire for a non-smoking room, which was nice, but it shared a door with owners unit so I could hear everything. Very noisy until 11pm.
It was a peaceful stay beside the traffic it was very quiet the only problem i had was some guy knocking on my door claiming his card would not open his door .i told him i could not help him and told him he had to go to the office. The staff was very friendly and was quick to get me registered.the bed was a little squeaky but i was still able to sleep well

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The check-in was pleasant and the location was good, however, the room was muggy and reaked of cigarettes. The air conditioner (mounted high on the wall) never blew out cold (or even cool) air. To stay cool, I slept with a damp towel as a blanket (which definitely helped).

The office was not too promising, I had to ring several times to get a response, and then he did not seem to know how to find my reservation on the computer. He then asked for a $20 refundable deposit, but I didn't have any cash, so he seemed to let it go. Hard to hear him through the glass window. The room was recently renovated and mostly quite acceptable, though there were no lamps in the room, only very bright overhead lights or darkness. I was there for one night and got a decent night's sleep, my expectations were not very high.
The room reeked of cigarette smoke and whatever chemicals they used to mop the floor with. When booking I wasn't given the option of a smoking or non smoking room so I assumed it would be non smoking. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, but a hole in the ceiling where one used to be. There were cigarette burns all over the bathroom sink. The bathroom was very small, when sitting on the child sized toilet my knees were nearly touching the wall, and I'm about 5'7". The shower head was in a wierd place and made it hard to use. The lights outside our room were very bright white LED's which gave the area a prison feel. There was garbage strewn about the sidewalk in front of the dumpster, but someone did pick it up at one point. I was charged $20 cash for adding a friend last minute to my room, as well as a $20 deposit which was given back to me at checkout, but wasn't mentioned when during booking. Despite all of this, the manager was very friendly and easy to deal with, and readily available to help when I accidentaly locked my key in the room. I probably won't stay here again and would gladly spend double to stay at the Sheraton or Hyatt next time I'm in town.
Fire alarm broken, needed to store it in my car overnight.
Sheets dirty (glad I brought a blanket to sleep on).
It’s good for using bathroom and crashing after a busy night in Sac. Car was safe in parking lot (so that was good)
Not sure if the previous guests had done this, but there were what seemed like cigarette burns on the bedspread and chair. There were faded stains on the sheets. The towel rack was gone. There were two chairs in the room— one being way too big for that space. The front table may have also been too big for the room. The woman staffing the place was helpful. The room had AC, WiFi, and a microwave. And yet there was no soap for washing your hands. And unfortunately, the other guests, or monthly residents saw it necessary to dump their trash and cigarettes outside on the stairs and elsewhere about the property. I am guessing the woman on staff may have been overwhelmed. But, hey, I could walk to coffee and a Target, so there’s that.
Refrigerator didn’t work . Towel rack was taped to the wall. Shower had hair in it and
Linen had hair on it . TV remote didn’t work . Had to call the Police for a guy who the manager refuse to escort off property
They mention no smoking and that was the first smell of marijuana, cocoraches, There was a leak of water,
Mold at the bathtub, wall paint wall falling, very dirty carpet dirty, beds make top much right away when you sit . Dissapointed because the photos on website has NOTHING alike in person
Have stayed here a few times however this was the first time I had an actual issue. I'm used to certain minor recurrences like having to go ask for towels or toilet paper but more than three times I was locked out of my room because o
there was nothing good about this property. If I could leave zero stars I would. There were hairs and flies in the bed. electrical wires hanging off appliances. stains on all of the furniture, holes in the bedcover and no sheets. the fire alarm had been taken off of the wall and the outside fire alarm kept chirping every 15-20 seconds. When I asked the staff for the second time to please fix it they told me " I will come take the battery out". There was tape on the door holding the lock on. This is the worst property worldwide I have stayed at. It is so unsafe and needs to be shut down because it is not up to code. Not only does the property feel unsafe and unclear, but the neighborhood does not feel safe. I checked out of the property the same day I checked out and went to another hotel which I have never done before. My uber driver without prompting told me that this was "not a good motel". My next Uber driver also emphasized how unsafe the area is. I have never had a hotel experience this bad and I would not wish this experience on anyone else. Please do not chance this motel. The photos are not at all what the room looks like and I cannot imagine a person would stay here unless they had absolutely no other choice. I should have realized this when I checked in and the first think I saw was "no refunds". there are abandoned appliances under the outside stairs. When I asked for a copy of my receipt and proof of check-out the staff said they weren't allowed to give me a copy
Checked in and there was a bowel movement on the toilet and some smeared on the blanket. Hair on the counter and in the towels. The smoke detector was off the ceiling and on a counter. Tried to request a new room, but there was nobody up front. We tried ringing the doorbell multiple times and waited 20 minutes, but had to leave because there was a stranger on the property making us feel unsafe and asking about our room. Let the cleaning lady know about the bowel movement and she had nothing to say. I have been attempting to get a refund, but no luck.
