"Never have I had to leave a hotel. We planned to celebrate my birthday at the agriturismo, the day before they emailed to say there was the option to eat by the pool. When we arrived there was no one to greet us, took about 20mins to find someone that worked there. We were then showed to our room. "This is a unique hotel, perched on the hilltop of Montesano village. It has old charm and lots of character. Our room was spacious and with castle-themed furniture. We had a private terrace patio which was huge and offered a spectacular view across the area. The girl at the reception, Elsa, was very kind and informative. We had dinner at the restaurant of the hotel and it was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is a hidden gem. Parking at the property is free."

"We had a wonderful stay here! The boutique hotel had spacious rooms and was situated on lovely grounds. A quick walk took us to the Paestum Archeological Site, and when we returned we enjoyed some gelato, sorbets and wine served in their garden. Dining at the restaurant attached to the hotel (Casa Coloni) was fantastic. We got their fish menu, and it was one of the best meals we’ve had to date on our excursions across Italy. We had a lovely night’s sleep followed by a great breakfast the next morning. If you’re reading this looking for inspiration to click the “book” button, do it. Book here. Lovely room, delicious meal, great amenities, not even a 10 minute walk from a UNESCO World Heritage site. What else could you ask for?"
