"Lovely, welcoming town and easy check in process. House is up a steep road but the views are worth it. The owner was attentive to our needs and promptly responded to any issues we had. The house is the last one on the road and the surrounding views from all windows and porch were amazing. We spent many hours on the porch watching the birds on the hillsides around us and the light change on the mountains across the valley. The access to the Serra da Estrela is wonderful and it is worth a walk...

"The location is gorgeous and the history so interesting. The best part was that a local knew the owner and called him after we spent over an hour looking for the location.
