We love this hostel! Front desk staff are always friendly and ready to help. The breakfast and staff are also great! Excellent value - would stay again.

This was an absolute find. In a beautiful location a short bus or train ride from Gstaad. The dorm was fine - clean but with the most glorious view. Great buffet breakfast included and the 16CHF dinner is a bargain.. and tasty.

Gerne wieder!

Das moderne Gebäude mit viel Holz und Sichtbeton ist sehr ansprechend. Der Empfang war freundlich, die Zimmer zweckmässig eingerichtet und sauber. Das 6-Bettzimmer mit Lavabo war direkt vis-a-vis der Toiletten und Duschen situiert. Das Frühstück war gut und reichhaltig. Es herrscht eine sehr familienfreundliche Atmosphäre. Gerne wieder.

Etwas zu spartanisch eingerichtet. Im Bad fehlt eine Badetuchstange. Die Hakenleiste an der Wand im Zimmer ist wenig praktisch. Eine zweite Sitzmöglichkeit, ein zweiter Stuhl, wäre gut.

Super friendly and helpful reception staff. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was great! Were able to get our laundry done (washed, dried & folded) overnight for a very reasonable fee - an unexpected plus!

Very close to the train station at Saanen but the village is very small. Not a lot of things to do in winter. Gstaad and other nearby areas are not too far though.

Moderne Jugendherberge mit Parkmöglichkeiten

Sehr schöne, moderne Jugendherberge. Die Mitarbeiterin (Frau Marti) ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Frühstücksraum ist sehr gross und das Frühstück war ausreichend. Wir haben ein Doppelzimmer mit Bad gebucht. Das Zimmer bietet genügend Platz und hat eine grosse Fensterfront. Leider war die Matratze sehr weich. Sonst hat es uns sehr gut gefallen.

Un lieu paradisiaque

Une très belle Auberge de Jeunesse très bien tenue par Marianne qui est accueillante. La chambre était équipée d'un bon lit et d'une douche et toilette. La vue sur le paysage est magnifique. Les transports publiques sont à proximité. Beaucoup d'excursions et de randonnées dans les environs pour tout niveaux de marche.

This place is well worth the money.

For 3 days I only needed a bed, my own bathroom / toilet and breakfast. This hostel was able to offer me that at a good price. In addition, the entire hostel staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good and varied. I was there by car and used the garage for CHF 12 a day.

Un lieu idéal pour la randonnée et autres sports ainsi que découverte de la nature que ce soit en été ou hiver . L'auberge est moderne et pratique. Elle est situé à 5-7 minuteS de Saanen et 20-25 de Gstaad à pied.

It has an excellent staff.

I got confused because I didn´t know the type of hotel that it was. When I did my reservation I didn´t realize the bathroom was shared, however I asked the Lady at front desk a change and kindly she made happen. Its for sport people, not for family.

Schön, Sauber aber Preis-Leistung naja

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im Swiss Youth Hostel in Gstaad. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und geräumig. Hat einen Schrank und einen zweiten mit Ablageflächen. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und es gibt eine grosse Auswahl. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Tipp für im Winter - Parkplatz in der Garage im Voraus reservieren! Ist kostenlos und hat und Zeit erspart um das Auto aus dem Schnee zu befreien. Hat einen gewärmten Skiraum, damit alles trocknet und warm bleibt. Preis- Leistung ist eher teuer aber für Gstaad-Verhältnisse günstig. Wir kommen wieder :)
