"1) The $100 deposit got charged rather than a hold; the staff then printed out a paper saying the charge did not reach the Heritage inn, and charged another $100 from my credit card. 2) When I asked to extend my stay, requested to charge another $100 after charging for another day. I refused to pay $300 for deposit; and exited. 3) Currently, heritage inn has $407 withheld that needs to be refunded. 4) The staff seemed Asian/African but “refused” to cooperate with my stay at Heritage Inn."

"The home was nicely decorated and clean in a quiet community and very close to restaurants and stores. The beds were super comfortable which is a plus plus for me. Two bedrooms have queen beds and the third bedroom has 2 twins and a trundle nicely decorated in Harry Potter Theme. We went to Sacramento to celebrate our first granddaughter’s baptism so it was nice to stay near them. We were about 22 mins from downtown Sacramento which was nice as well. The only thing to mention is that there is no laundry room accessible to guests so if you’re thinking of coming with minimal clothes to wash and reuse then you should contact host and ask about that. Loved having a dishwasher. It was easy to use. Please note, Quiet time starts at 9pm. Looks like house was sectioned off and you’re sharing a wall. I believe someone else lives in the property so don’t be alarmed if you see another car parked in driveway."

"We loved how quiet the neighborhood was! Clean home with an open space. My 6 year old enjoyed setting out his wooden train tracks from the dining room down to the living room. We chose this location because we were in town from Portland, OR to see Big Boy 4014 and it was an easy 12 minute drive to the location. Restaurants, quick marts, Target, Starbucks, Dutch bros, charging stations for EV all close by! Thank you for a wonderful stay! "

"This property is worth the money paid. The pool and spa are huge and well maintained. We are very pleased, my family members from around the Sacramento area were very happy and visited during the week we stayed and 14 came for a bbq, backyard party! Plenty of room and our dog loved it too"

"Extremely Disappointing StayOur stay at this property was far below expectations and completely unacceptable. From the moment we arrived, there was a strong, persistent, and very unpleasant odor throughout the house. It made it uncomfortable to be there, yet when we reported it to the host, their only response was that no previous guests or cleaners had ever complained. They asked for more details, which we provided, but then never responded again.We reached out to VRBO for help. The host told them: “No similar issues have been reported. After that, I did not receive actionable follow-up details indicating a problem.” This means our complaint and the complaints of six other guests about the odor were dismissed simply because no one else had mentioned it. That is unacceptable. A real problem shouldn’t be ignored just because it’s new.To make matters worse, the pull-out sofa had a large, disgusting white stain. Clearly, the property had not been properly cleaned or maintained. Between the odor and the unsanitary furniture, our stay was uncomfortable and disappointing.We expected a professional, clean, and hospitable environment, but this property failed on all fronts. The lack of accountability from both the host and VRBO made the situation worse. Future guests should be aware that complaints may be ignored, even when the issues are serious and legitimate.VRBO needs to take issues like this seriously. Guests deserve to be heard."
