"America, lady at front desk, was very detailed in her explanation of hotel amenities and special things to see. Great job America! Appreciate you & love your name. Micheal does a fabulous job tending to the shrubbery and flowers. I managed to get his attention to say thank you and boy he has a great personality too! Introduced him to my whole family. Thanks Michael! Can’t remember the names of others but they were the pool staff and did a fabulous job serving us food, drinks and keep the area clean and safe. Security staff was good at making sure hotel guests were only people permitted to the hotel. Thank you all!"

"Parking is tight but overall great. No air conditioning but they did have fans. We took couple of our own fans and it worked fine. "

"Honestly i was very anxious for my stay, i had seen that there were bad reviews but only after the fact that i already made reservations, surprisingly i had an awesome time, the manager was super nice and welcoming as well as all of the other employees, she did let me know of the warm water not working in the building i was staying in, none the less i wanted to stay in the room so id have a kitchen, the room exceeded my expectations, it was very clean, they had utensils, dish ware and cooking ware. the private water front was so beautiful especially at night. the balcony was a definite plus too. they did have complimentary breakfast with items like juice, coffee, cereal, breakfast bars and a few other things. my stay was very affordable. Although it’s mid summer in california the weather was perfect, unfortunately there was no ac, and as a person who gets very hot easily, i would say the ac was not needed, i’ll definitely be returning and would recommend checking this place out for your next stay up in big bear. there were many fun activities that i was able to do in my 2 night stay, there are many things that are at walking distance or a very short car ride away, id recommend going to the alpine slide, going out for a kayaking experience, and/or checking out a fun spot called gold rush mining adventure."
