"I was originally suppose to check in on 2/24 but due to bad weather in VA my flight was canceled and rebooked for the next day. I tried to get a refund for that day i missed but the hotel refused. They offered to extend the trip by one day, but because i have an engagement to tend to that would not be doable. "

"Starting from the receptionist…very nice & informative! The staff overall were super friendly & helpful. Every single day, didn’t matter the time, they were there to help. The rooms were clean & filled with utilities, from plates to cups to water bottles and milk. If you needed extra, they assisted & provided you with anything and everything. Even without asking you, they made sure you had things! Just would like to shout out our nanny Kerina that was assigned to us. She was always with a smile & very helpful. Even though our kids were so glued on to us, Kerina was around to help out. I would also like to shout out the manager (I forgot her name), she was so kind to take me to the supermarket to buy my baby formula. Overall, I had a great time and experience at the FDR. Would highly recommend if you have kids. "

"The rooms were clean. The only thing I would suggest is to put comforters on the beds instead of having to use a blanket. The staff was fabulous along with the entertainment."

"Loved the vegetable gardens, the friendly staff and our spacious clean room with our very private balcony. Good food and lovely grounds as well as seeing the resident peacock at meals made our stay very special. So happy not to be at one of those 5star all inclusives."
