"Quirky building with loads of character, was actually a hospital years ago. Friendly staff, great breakfast and interesting bar area with a very old iron/pressing machine used for bed sheets, many years ago."

"Excellent location - right near the central railway which made it easy to get to when arriving by train. Short and scenic walk in to town. I think I would rate this as a 3 1/2 star as the condition of the hotel is a bit worn - but the staff was excellent and all in all it was a good value and location."

"The breakfast is truly amazing and the room was very comfortable. And we really appreciated the free parking for our rental car. We had the misfortune of staying at the hotel along with a charter bus full of Lithuanian teenagers. The teenagers were put in rooms all around us on our floor. The entire afternoon and evening they stood around the hallways yelling, singing, and running back and forth to each others’s rooms, slamming the doors. They continued well into the night, even past 10:00 pm. Even ear plugs could not shut out the stomping on the floor and the slamming of doors. My husband went down to the reception and spoke to the receptionist and she said she would take care of it. Nothing improved. It’s impossible to control 30-some teenagers, I suppose."

"Absolutely excellent stay at PURO Gdańsk! The hotel has such an amazing vibe — modern, stylish, welcoming, and comfortable from the moment you walk in. The design and atmosphere really make it feel like a luxury boutique experience while still being relaxed and inviting. The location is perfect. It’s just steps away from the river and surrounded by so many great restaurants, cafes, and bars, making it incredibly easy to explore the city on foot. Everything in the Old Town feels conveniently close. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, and the overall service throughout the stay was fantastic. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gdańsk."
