"The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Mapie was very responsive to us, within five minutes, and made sure we had everything we needed. The location was perfect, just a few minutes’ walk from the historic village of Beaune and very close to the local vineyards as well. The beds were extremely comfortable with a very warm duvet, especially good as we were visiting during one of the coldest periods of the year. "This hotel is on the outskirts of town in an area where many of the chain/budget hotels are located. It's easily accessible from the autoroute and had plenty of parking right outside. It's about a 10 minute stroll into the old town. In short a decent location. Being brutally honest the exterior of the hotel looked a little tired and slightly scruffy. My heart didnt lift when I saw it, but it overall it was fine. The interior and breakfast were a similar story. Perfectly ok, no more, it was ok. We were travelling with our small dog and it was very dog friendly which perhaps some of the chain hotels are not. The location is good for dogs with plenty of walkable, nearby green spaces for them. The receptionist we dealt with spoke perfect English. To summarise, this is a conveniently located, reasonable hotel which is dog friendly."
