"The cabin was just as described and everything about the booking / arrival / departure was easy. A nice break from staying in Harrisonburg and close to the entrance of Shenandoah National Park. Would stay here again."

"We had a great time at the cozy Cub den. It was clean and the kitchen was well equipped for us to make all of our meals in..even Thanksgiving dinner! The location was well positioned to get to Luray Caverns and the mid section of Shenandoah National Park. We had plenty of room for our group of five adults and two kids. The boys enjoyed the gaming system and the hot tub was a nice treat after hiking. "

"The hotel is beautiful - sleek and chic! Great location and stellar staff. The rooftop bar and restaurant is my favorite place in Charlottesville. (The gluten-free pizza is FANTASTIC!). The rooms are nice, but there was mildew on the shower walls the last 2 times we stayed there. The gym has some broken equipment, but that won't stop us from coming back! The best value in the area. "
"The first unit we checked into had both adult and baby roaches present. To the resort’s credit, they moved us promptly once we reported the issue, but the timing made the situation especially inconvenient since it was around 10 PM and we had just started settling in after returning late from a wedding event.
We were in town for a wedding and spent most of our stay attending offsite wedding events, so we did not really have the opportunity to fully explore or enjoy the resort amenities during our visit.
While the staff responded quickly, the experience impacted the rest of my stay. I spent much of the trip feeling uncomfortable, constantly checking for bugs, and worrying about bringing them home with us.
The resort offered four park passes as a goodwill gesture, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, after the experience, we did not feel particularly eager to return, so the resolution did not fully address the impact the situation had on our stay. We do have a year to use the passes, so perhaps with time we may reconsider.
In fairness, our group had three different units spread across the resort and no one else reported similar issues, so this may have been an isolated incident. However, it still significantly affected my ability to relax and enjoy the stay."
"While the inn wasn’t quite what I was expecting, it met our needs. The rooms were clean but definitely dated. The mattress sagged in a way that made me feel I might roll right off. The shower was okay but they didn’t provide body wash (shampoo & conditioner were there). The location was very convenient to the highway but not in the setting you’d picture for an old English inn. I chose this place for its proximity to the Nat’l Park but wouldn’t choose it again since there are other places that are closer. Can’t speak for the breakfast, didn’t even know they served it. Sounds like a lot of negatives for a 4 star review but like I said, it met our needs."
