"Ardoe house has a lot of character. Entry seemed tired and due for refresh, but the Prestige room we booked was modern and well equipped. The grounds are superb, and very relaxing. We would stay again. "

"We were only in Stonehaven for one night. However, the Ship Inn was a great choice. We (4 of us) had dinner there and it was excellent! The waiting-staff was very friendly and helpful. We had included breakfast there the next morning as well and we were glad we did with made-to-order items as well as some buffet-choices. The rooms were comfortable and the view of the harbor was wonderful. "

"It was a fabulous stay and the staff were fantastic. we had one issue in that on Saturday the bathroom tap came off in my wife's hand. I managed to push it together temporarily to stem the leak. The Hotel had no maintenance staff on site over the weekend and when we left on Sunday at lunch time the tap had not been repaired. This was not good."
