Welcome to our cozy 2-bedroom + Office/Laundry room located in the charming town of Rowlesburg, West Virginia. Our home is perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat in the heart of nature, with easy access to nearby attractions. Outside, you'll find a spacious deck both front and back, perfect for enjoying the fresh air and scenic views of the surrounding mountains. There is a creek on the side of the house. We are a 5 minute drive to Cheat river for water activities.

This home offers a comfortable and inviting environment with various amenities for a relaxing stay. It features two bedrooms, each designed with different sleeping arrangements. Absolutely amazing!!

We had a fantastic stay, it was a gorgeous area, very peaceful and relaxing. The house itself was adorable and very comfortable, we had everything we needed, we found some cute places in the area, it was phenomenal experience!

nice little place with lots of charm

Wife and I stayed for 2 nights. The house was comfortable and charming and had everything we needed for a couple day getaway. The porches were a nice place to sit.

Week stay in Rowlesburg West Virginia

We stayed at this "rustic cottage" over the Thanksgiving holiday. It was warm inside when it was freezing outside. Unfortunately the Frontier Internet was down on arrival, and we had no phone service without it. Service was restored late in the evening. Neighbors were closer than expected. No nearby restaurants or stores, but we did OK. Property Manager was helpful.

Awful stay

The house was incredibly dirty with old q-tips in the thick dust at the bottom of the baseboard, toenail clipping on the floor, only two drinking glasses available, old food in fridge, two outlets for appliances in the kitchen. The pictures are frauds. Much different in person. Stains on mattress pads and bedspreads, pilled, thin sheets, etc.

A good option for those seeking peaceful stay in the countryside

We had a great time at this property and enjoyed our 2 days gateway. The highlights were the stunning Mountain View, cleanses of the property, fully equipped kitchen. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, making entire process smooth and hassle-free. We were pleasantly surprised with Welcome basket filled with fresh eggs, dehydrated soup and Amish popcorn. Location is close to fishing spots, hiking trails, rafting/kayaking and other outdoor activities. It worth noting a few minor drawbacks: the property lacked privacy from outside and there are no restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Overall we had a wonderful stay!
