Beautiful contemporary hotel with awards for architectural design. Really nice pool, adjacent to park on the seashore. Bike rental onsite with a really nice bike path leading to town.

Awesome hotel all around. Great location, rooms, and service. Walk via the marina to Rovinj instead of taking a taxi, it's a short, beautiful and scenic route, with wonderful views of the town.

Modern hotel with great facilities albeit has a shared outdoor pool with hotel Eden thus very crowded and lots of kids. However the end platform section by the sea has great sunbeds and can be used by Hotel Lone guests for free.

Beautiful hotel

Fantastic hotel, really unusual in style, very retro. Staff were all so very helpful throughout our stay. It was our silver wedding anniversary and they put champagne and truffles in the room. Amazing gardens and woods surrounding the whole area. Very picturesque

This is place is absolutely stunning. Art/Architecture museum of a hotel with an amazing breakfast from 7A-12PM, english speaking staff, and a simple safe walk to the beach or town. You felt the beauty of a forested reserve while staying in a posh hotel. It was even better then I imagined.

Hotel Lone is a lovely hotel set in a beautiful garden by the sea - about 20 minutes flat walk from the centre of Rovinj. It’s not cheap but this hotel makes you feel special. The rooms are really well appointed and the balconies are private. The staff are friendly and attentive. Maistra - the company that owns Hotel Lone - also owns the Monte Mulini hotel next door and the Grand Park nearer to Rovinj. All great hotels if you can afford them

Great location, great staff, beautiful landscape, amazing sea and wonderful natural park. Restaurants and breakfast are good. Hotel over all good, except bad Wi-Fi. Another annoying thing is the terrible mosquito situation, it is unfortunately a real plague! It is a honest and good 8,5 of a 10!

Everything about our stay was exceptional. The rooms are super spacious, the staff are wonderful, helpful, accommodating, great at their work. The amenities are great with a number of restaurants available, a day spa with great options, a sauna and steam room facility, indoor outdoor pool options with a beach a few metres away and short walking distance to the old town and a number of other facilities. However, the hotel has everything, you dont even need to leave the residence. The hotel has a modern look but its all around vibe is super relaxed and quiet which is exactly what we wanted and it was exactly the 'retreat' type stay advertised. Would highly recommend.

Lone Hotel

Overall it was a great stay. From the time we arrived, the service was great. Check in was easy and efficient. Our room was ready before we arrived, so no waiting time. Full valet service with free parking, which is not the norm in other hotels. The room was nice and spacious. Had everything we required, and was topped up throughout the day. Food was great at all the restaurants and value for money. Enjoyed the beach, indoor pool and spa facilities. The only request i would make, is that they remove the carpets from the elevators.

I love Lone, this is our 2nd time there and we love everything about the people and location of the hotel. Sadly this year my room was not cleaned nearly quarter as good as last year. Will give it another try next year … I just got unlucky with the cleaning people on my floor

Hotel is huge (260 rooms?). Lots of rooms, corridors, lobby area, 3 restaurants. Desk clerk not esp. friendly at checkin. Bellboy (Phillip) was good and helpful. Used valet parking. Room is quite large and seems comfortable. Lighting doesn't reach desk area. Had our free buffet dinner. Good spread, lots of good deserts. Valet parking. 5* hotel of the modern mega-scale variety. Room large. Bathroom large. Breakfast buffet good but very busy- lots of guests, and lots of young children. Would definitely stay here again - price very reasonable for what you get.
