"The location is great. Extremely walkable. It is a good place to stay for 1 person especially if you will be out most of the day. Overall, it is a pleasant apartment as it is described. The front of the building has scaffolding so I had trouble finding it. The building number is hidden by the scaffolding. This would be good for the property manager to mention before you arrive. "Avoid. The only redeeming quality is price and proximity to train station. Lots of back and forth just trying to get check-in information and then radio silence when i asked about getting a fan and hair dryer as listed in the description. The room was filthy when i arrived (stains, hair on sheets,no pillow case), used soap and shower products, floor was filthy. She sent somone over to change sheets. But the place is just gross and smells really bad."

There was a weekend day when the cleaners did not clean the room adequately but the rest of the time the cleaning was adequate. "Wonderfully located hotel 8 minutes walk from Lille Europe station located in Lille Flanders square. Surrounded by cafes and in the edge of the Old Town. Excellent value for money and plenty of choice for the buffet breakfast . A joy to sit out on the terrace at breakfast with a view of the square and surrounding buildings. A shame we couture the terrace at other times."

"Minimalist. We thought the bar/breakfast area was pretty poorly configured. The table football kept the kids entertained though. The hotel smelt of cigarette smoke a lot, especially one evening when we got back and the whole floor stank. We asked reception if there was anything they could do but they said no. The aircon in our room was hit and miss, some nights it was quite cool but others it was boiling hot. The room itself was okay, room enough for the 4 of us (2 adults, 2 kids - 13yo and 11yo) but the bathroom and toilet were very plastic. Good location for the Eurostar station but fairly poor for getting into town - 15+ mins walk to the Grand Place, felt not far enough for a taxi but too long to walk twice every day with the kids."

"During our stay in Lille, the weather was around 28°C. Although the room didn’t have air conditioning, it was surprisingly comfortable and not too hot. The hotel provided a fan as per requested, which was very helpful. The price was very reasonable, especially considering that both free parking and breakfast were included. Overall, it was great value for money."
